  • CANNOT find list of GBA ARv3 Button Activator Values ANYWHERE!

I do, however, have a far more powerful alternative--which works a lot better than GPSP Kai's cheat engine:

    TempAR. 'Nuff said.

This cheat device is almost universally compatible with just about any emulator you can think up. I've used it to create codes for Genesis, NES, SNES, N64, GBA and even homebrew games.

I've already posted a few codes I created for a cool MUGEN-style fighter called SmashgPSP (a MUGEN game ported from the GP32x to the PSP).

It is also compatible with CWCheat-format codes, including the universal CWCheat button activator (0xD00000?? 0x1???????--fill in the ?s with the necessary values). This compatibility necessarily extends to any games and emulators which are capable of supporting TempAR (read: nearly ALL of them! Bwa ha ha! )

I can't, however, simply patch a CWCheat button activator directly onto an ARv3 code. The two are entirely different formats. However, maybe decrypting the code(s) might allow me to do so...

    You should visit EnHacklopedia.
I only bother with things that interest me.

Actually went there, and found out what the universal button activator address and values are for GBA (regardless of cheat device). However, not sure what I did wrong when trying to convert said activator (for use with Spyro: Season of Ice's Hover code) to ARv3 format. It could've been that I used EIGHT digits in the value area (second group of digits) when I should've used four.

            Thank you so much!

It's strange. No matter how many times I visit this place, I can never remember a single button value.
You'd think that after 2 years of using this website, I would know that the A button value is : 74000130 03FE.

That's kind of strange...the site you told me to go to said that the ARv3 button activator code (which doesn't do anything on gPSP Kai, BTW) was 0A400130 0x00000xxx.

I think that the ONLY button activator which works on gPSP Kai is the one for CWCheat (0xD00000?? 0x1000????).

If only I had the skills to reverse-engineer every single non-working ARv3 code so that I can create CWCheat equivalents for them...

At that point, gPSP Kai would be forced to bow to ME as its new master! Bwa ha ha!
