  • SimCity SNES (USA) codes

I've got some new codes for SimCity for the SNES. A couple of these will fill requests that I saw on the game's code page:

Max Land Value (Works for the important zones, although some I zones still have low value)
    039DA8A5

Maximum Police Coverage (Does not actually reduce crime though)
    039F86A5

    Zero Crime
    039F26A5
    039F2900

Max Pop. Density and No Pollution (These two variables are related, so they must both be changed)
    03A094A5
    03A11AA5
    03A11D00

Build anything anywhere (You can build over other zones or water. You can't bulldoze water though)
    01BA8380
    01BA8444

Thanks to BluArtistEyes who pointed out where to find the police coverage table in the RAM. I used this information to help locate patterns in how the game accessed and stored data to this table as well others. I'm new to this site, so let me know if I formatted anything wrong. I didn't see how to input the codes into the database myself, so I figure I would post them here.

Here's a couple more, in response to requests on the game's page:

    Approval Rating 100%
    7E0DDF64

    Disapproval Rating 0%
    7E0DE100

Also, I hadn't noticed that Ugetab had already discovered the code to give power to all buildings. Apologies!

I have plenty of codes for other games as well. All codes I post are in RAW, unencrypted format.

      Donkey Kong Country(USA), SNES, RAW:

Mid-Air MultiJump (There is a slight lag before the first jump, but nothing too serious)
      BFB925:29
      BFB924:80
While there was a code already listed to do this, this version only uses two lines of codes instead of four.

Swim on Land Levels (This works any time you enter a level or exit a bonus area, unless doing so immediately results in you being blasted out of a door)
      8086C1:A9
      8086C2:15
      8086C3:89
      8086C4:EA

Secret of Evermore (USA), SNES, RAW
Bypass SRAM Checksum (Allows easy editing of save files. You must have four saved games made for this to work, otherwise the game will interpret a nonexistent save as valid and crash).
      8DC92EA5

Warp from Fire Eyes' Village to the Professor's Lab (When you leave Fire Eye's village toward the bugmuck, you will be transported to the professor's lab instead. You can change the value of this byte to change the room your are transported to)
      94BEAA:46

Buy dry ice from Strong Heart's brother in Fire Eyes' Village (Replaces water in this merchant's inventory with dry ice. Changing the value in this byte changes the ingredient that can be purchased.)
      8CE342:0E

Romance of the three Kingdoms II (USA), SNES, RAW
Always get the Ruler's Seal when conquering province 10 (These two bytes are bitwise, with each bit representing an item. To choose a specific item, a single bit must be 1, with all others zero).
      7EF87E:00
      7EF87F:80

Get an item from conquering any province
      08BE416

Get a Rare item after conquering any province
      7EFEA9:01

Choose the Rare Item that you receive
      (??=
10:New Treatise of Meng De (increase everybody's intellect)
11:War Manual of Sun Tzu (increase everybody's intellect)
12:Book of Wisdom (increase everybody's Intellect)
      13:Luminous Sword (increase everybody's war)

      1Aragon Mare (increase everybody's war)
      1B:Fire Steed (increase everybody's war)
1C:Ruling Seal of the Han Dynasty (All cities trust maximum, ruler's War, Intel, Charm 100)
      )
      08B957:89
      08B958:??

      Change the game year
      7EE006:??
      7EE007:??

      Change the month
      7EE008:??

Many of the codes below have two versions. One which must be deactivated when not needed (could cause problems if left on), and one which is stable but only works if active at the time you start the game and is left on.

Alliances will always succeed (Turn this code on before you attempt an alliance, and off afterwards).
      7EACF1:A4

Alliances will always Succeed (This code can be kept on, but might only work if you have it on when you load up your game).
      04E667:A4

Change difficulty (Thanks to DragonAtma for this code. Difficulty above 3 can be selected, but can make the game impossibly difficult)

Threaten 100% Success Rate (Activate before title screen and keep it on).
      05D9B5:A5

Control Any Ruler (Each of these codes gives you control of one ruler. If you change the value to 00, you will lose control of that ruler)

      7E77FF6

Cannot win battle by taking the castle (Activate before battle starts. Safe to keep on)
      06E3816

I've also identified RAM addresses used for Int-War-Chm, number of soldiers, ruler stats, city stats, and so on. I could post them, but there would be over 1000 codes, and they apply to different officers/rulers in each scenario. The city stats apply in each though. While it is pretty straightforward just to do a code-search for these types of things yourself, I will post this information if there is interest.

Here are a few codes in response to requests from terpsfan101 for Zombies Ate My Neighbors (USA), SNES.

Invulnerability (Immune to damage caused by coming into contact with enemies, immune to Big Baby's stomps, immune to Jelly Blob's slime shots. However, this code prevents access to keys and consumable items found on the ground. It also prevents you from exiting the stage, so you will need to turn it off when not in danger. Saving victims still works fine.)
          80F7FA:80

Less Points Required for Bonus Victims (Changes requirements from 40000 points to 20000 points. There are two codes because one affects the initial points requirement, and the other affects every bonus victim thereafter)
          808627:02
          82D472:02

          Always Extra Bonus Victim
          82D45E:80

          Always Extra Bonus Player
          82D45E:80
          82D483:80

Invincibility Plus Keys (when you get hit or use a weapon, you get a key instead of taking damage. Must turn off to exit stage).
          80F7F7:A9
          80F7F8:21
