The ncl file for The Last Of Us started off as the BLES##### v1.00. I had the BLUS##### version and noticed every single thing in the file matched my version so I merged them. They should work fine unless people mixed up the BLES version in the beginning and it was really the BLUS version, and that wouldn't surprise me because the whole database has been one hell of a hard to verify mess without getting the exact game files. People were mixing up versions and app versions and the version numbers along with just the wrong GameID entirely. I've tried cleaning it up the best I can.

The "*.ncl" files are just normal plain text files. Open one up in a text editor and take a glance, you can likely see the formatting and understand how it's done very quickly. If you need, change it from "whatevergame.ncl" to "whatevergame.txt" and edit it and change it back to "whatevergame.ncl" again. I'm not sure if all the documentation on code types and stuff is easily in a text file with Artemis or NetCheat, but I can't think of a code type or format dnawrkshop has implemented that I haven't used in at least 1 game in the entire list of that 1000+ files.

OK, I'm going to very calmly ask for advice.
What does one do in situations like this:
I have Metal Gear Solid 4 BLUS30109. I believe it auto-installed a title update when I ran it. I do not know what title update it is on, nor do I know how to remove that title update. Nor do I know how to locate and install the correct title update which will work with the NCL file in the database, which is:
Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns Of The Patriots BLES00246 BLUS30109 01.01.ncl
What I do know is that none of those codes work for me currently.
I would very, very, very much appreciate any assistance.

You can remove any update in the XMB menu before you start a game. There should be something labeled "Game Data" above the game disk you choose to start. In game data is any installed game data or updates and you can remove them. Some games do something to prevent saves from updates from working on older versions of the game though. Give that a try 1st.

Thanks. I found codes for the current MGS4 update (2.0) which I have tested successfully on both BLES and BLUS versions (not sure about 25th anniversary version). Can I get you the NCL file for inclusion, as what's currently there in for MGS4 is pretty useless

I wanted to ask about Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time. I haven't tried the codes yet, but the ones you've made - the most useful and most codes - are for Ratchet And Clank Future A Crack In Time BCUS98124 v01.01 av01.00.
That seems to be a non-current update? Because I think 1.02, or 1.2 is the current update. Since I don't know of any way to install a non-current update (you can either have the current update, or decline to have any updates), how do we make use of these codes?

Odd I didn't see that anywhere until now.

I can put them in if I ever update the thing again.

I didn't encounter any problems with Ratchet And Clank Future A Crack In Time. Do you know which exact code is causing the crash? Is the crash triggered by something specific, like maybe when you get hit or jump or something?

Hard for me to pinpoint exactly, but for example pressing Start (Pause) just crashed the game (and indeed the whole console) for me during a Clank segment. I had the following on:
- Dont lose ammo
- Dont lose health (Ratchet)
- Dont lose health (Clank)
- Ship health
- Fast weapon level up
- Crank Infinite Time
