I think I just found the solution:

1.I put the orginal Eboot.bin for Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time back to the game folder (BCAS20098\PS3_GAME\USRDIR, in my case).

2.I uninstalled Dnawrkshp's Artemis(r5) version and installed Aldostools's unofficial Artemis 4.8 mod.

3.After I restarted my PS3, before mounting game, I unloaded Webman by pressing L3+R3+R2.

4.I used mmCm to mount Rachet and Clank A Crack in Time.

5.I launched Artemis, select Rachet and Clank US 1.0 version's code. "I selected run 'once' AOB ammo never deceased"

6.During game's running, I pressed PS button then Start, to make Artemis wrote to the game. then I pressed PS button back to game, then I pressed PS button then the Select button to detatch Artemis with the game.

7.After that, I came back to the game, by testing, I found infinite ammo is working. And the game runs with behaving normally without crash. I tested till I found 1 golden Bolt and caught 2 Zonies in game.

8.Then I pressed PS button to Exit from the game to PS3 start page without console freezing.

Oh good grief the NPUB codes don't work on the NPUB version of Ni No Kuni.

EDIT: I tell a lie, the Quick Level Up code (006F7FC8 3CA07FFF) works, took me straight to 99. Now it's just a question of testing other codes and see which work and which dont.

Yeah, the Ni No Kuni files annoyed me a lot. I don't know what versions anything is for, the only thing I can truly verify is that the 1 health code I made works for me for the version I put it in. The rest of them, I think people put the wrong details and it's now a guessing game of which versions they work for. I still even need to look at your eboot. Do you also have the PARAM.SFO file for your version of Ni No Kuni? That way I can verify the version too.


As for Ratchet & Clank, I keep wondering what codes you have used so far. I don't know why I left in those 2 codes that don't save, and I'd suspect they are involved in messing with the save data because the game somewhere thinks it's working and they seem fine, but then you quit and play without codes and it didn't save. If you're able to reliably trigger it to crash by just going to menus or different levels, do the crashes still occur without codes on? And if so, are you able to try 1 or a few codes at a time to see which 1 or few of them cause the crash? When I played, somehow I never once got a crash.

OK so, so far on NPUB30932:

Quick Level Up - works perfectly
Max Money On Gain - works but needs to be disabled afterwards, as it softlocked my game when staying at an inn
Infinite HP + MP, No Status Ailments + Buffs Status - works, BUT also affects some bosses, making them unkillable

I think I'll try your 'Health Never Decreases' code next.

As long as you're playing Ni No Kuni, even though some codes may not work, are there any codes you can think of that you would want? I'm slowly getting done with Metal Gear Rising Revengeance even though after I'm finally done I need to port things to the updated version too. In between that, I'm messing with Lost Planet Extreme Condition with GuitarMan trying to get different weapons anywhere we can, and so far we can choose to start an area with a different main weapon and grenade of our choice, and I can kind of trick it into thinking I picked up an item from nowhere, even though with that it will only give us an item that is currently normally on the level even though it might be slightly bugged.

Also for my Ni No Kuni health code, that was either the 1st or 2nd game ever I tried fully tracing a static pointer route for a code to find my health address every time, and I likely did it a very long way that is possibly buggy. I know it works in the very beginning of the game, I'm not sure if it will stay working correctly the entire game or if it eventually crashes or maybe even instead affects one of the enemies.

For Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time, I just modified 'AOB Infinite Ammo' to Eboot.BIN. I started a new game to test, the game will crash. I also tested 10 times with modifying with some other AOB codes to EBOOT.BIN. At the end, I found only the original Eboot.BIN will not cause game crash (ANY AOB code modified to the EBOOT will cause the game crashing while playing).

I found the way of using Artemis with "'once' wrote the AOB code with the game", that will at least make 'Infinite ammo' works. (Please refer to my previous post).

By the way, Artemis works well with Infamous 1 and 2 with the codes in the latest database.

Hmm, Health Never Decreases isn't working for me (my health is decreasing!). Am at the desert part of the game.

Your eboot is a different version compared to mine, I've already compared them. My code would need to be ported to your version, but the problem is I wrote it in a long way that might be unreliable, and I'd likely need to even re-write it for my own version. I'm just finding a timer, a health check, and total level statistics for MGRR and then I can port that stuff to the latest update and move on to another game. It's been like 2 months on MGRR since I have so little time for anything in life.


EDIT: Just checked, my health code for Ni No Kuni doesn't even work for me. I knew it was a risky code. I'll fix that eventually.

Thank you for your efforts.

I am happy with using the original EBOOT.BIN for R&C A Crack in Time, as long as Artemis works.

Personally I think: "coding (pursuing for perfecetion) is not the most important thing in my life, our life time is limited and there could be always something wrong in those thousands lines of codes, coding is beautiful but sometimes may not worth it. Many people should be involved with and working on the good project".

I am moving to the next project in my life. I am considering about going to States for another achievement, if you are in U.S., we may see each other sooner or later.

That would be a good idea, since this game seems to have more non-working Health codes than just about any other I've encountered.

Could you try the NPEB version to see if it works for you? I've only tried the very beginning. I don't know if you get more characters or how that works with bosses or if it works everywhere. Let me know what happens. I'm in the process of porting the Metal Gear Rising codes so I can remove that from the PS3 and move on to other things.

I kind of suspected the PM didn't go through considering sometimes I need to click post about 30 times just to get by the error messages and post. Not sure what's going on with the forums at the moment. I also uninstalled the game too since it's like 22 gb and that prevented me from getting other things on my PS3 for testing. I'm not too motivated to put it back on my PS3 at the moment, I'm porting the MGRR codes and then need to check on the Jak and Sly Cooper games since I only see memory codes or no codes at all.
