hold off on adding them let me talk it over with the other staff as what to do exactly with the codes

Well, your lucky I'm extremely slow when it comes to adding codes to the database, because I had every intention of eventually adding the magazine codes. Of course, I would have given credit for each code in the Notes column.

now theres two schools of thought on codes like this.Originally posted by OldSchoolGamer View Postwill those codes be added to the database? I thought only hackers of this forum and hackers that give permission.
and as i've stated i'd like them preserved aka add them to the database. but the thing about credit is a main thing do we credit the magazine or the person who submitted the cheat to the magazine. (if listed )
the other school of thought don't add them unless we get permission from a person who probably submitted the codes to the magazine 10-25 years ago
if you can track the person down then add the codes after getting permission. the people probably moved on in thier lifes and could care less

this brings up an interesting point these codes printed in magazines should be documented in some form and technically as image files may be available but maybe a bit cumbersome and physical copies are limited in number. as for credit is there any submission note or does the magazine take credit for the codes
