I actually never played this as a kid, and just recently remembered the game (remember seeing it as a kid). Very cool concept (transformations into beasts) for a fighting game.

While browsing the old database, I noticed that this was a re-hack. Nolberto82 hacked the 1.0 NTSC version of this game, but it's not listed on the main site here. It is, however; listed in the old database here. My code is different from his, so I'll leave mine in the database unless someone feels I should remove it.
