I never tried the Mew glitch, but as soon as I found out about it, it was too late. I used to own a GameShark, but back then I never understood how it worked.

Lol I never knew that either in the old days I used GameShark to hack and get my own pokemon with modded abilities, and then my firends and I battled it out on the N64 Battle Colosseum where they couldn't defeat my mewtwo with super fang and some recover ability I had.

I used to own all of them from Pokémon RBY-FR/LR/Emerald (except Pokémon Green) until I sold them. I did have a copy of Pokémon Platinum, but I never got around to buying the other NDS Pokémon Games excluding that one. I definitely won't be buying them now that the 5th Generation is out (Demonic is anti-5th generation...).

Edit: Do you know of the Mew Glitch? http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mew_Glitch

Well, I'll link you to a brief article. I'm still debating whether or not that's Missingno since in the previous games, Missingno doesn't really lock up/freeze the game, but in this case, it did. Also, the reason I thought it was him because whoever is really in that picture took the appearance of Missingno's Ghost form. It's really hard to find out who it is because I can't think of any other Pokémon that looks like that from the rear view. It can't be Gengar, and if it was Haunter, it'd have those little spikes on its head.

    Article: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Missingno.

Edit: Dragonboy said it could be the Pokémon sprite that appears while you're surfing, but why is it standing up?

This may be what you're looking for. I remember using this glitch years ago to increase rare candies and master balls.

Fill the rest of us on this "Missingno", like what is the history or theory behind it.

I'm starting to compare this "follower" to the infamous Missingno. Could this be Missingno showing his face (or his back for that matter, heh) on NDS? The world may never know...

    [NDS] Pokémon Platinum (U)

    Code:
    !!!Pokémon Platinum (U)
    !!B8OE 75E76881

    !Misc. Code
    ::The Human Bike
    9205EB6A 000061EC
    1205EB68 00002401
    D2000000 00000000
    Notes: To Enable:
    If you're using an Emulator:
    1. Activate the code before you're in the game or walking around.
    2. If you didn't activate the code before you're in the game, either enter/exit a building, or try enabling the bike.

If you're using a Flash Cart or Retail Cart, you're fine. Pressing B, in theory, will toggle between the bike's speed, but you're really toggling between the player's speed. This code basically makes your player a human bike.

I've been messing around with this game lately, and came across this:

Who the hell is this behind me? This is Pokémon Platinum! Since when does Pokémon follow you in this game? Anyways, after I noticed this thing behind me, the game froze (sadly, heh).

Yeah, no new releases...or nothing worth hacking. I'll look at them if I get around to it.

So looks like we are forced to hack older nds games as it seems like there isnt m(any?) more released in some time, but our staffer MIR requested a few codes for a game so it looks like something for you to tackle.
