      • No problem! I plan on making a Walk Through Walls code for Castlevania when I get a chance, not sure how useful it will be but eh whatever.

Say if you could make something similar for SOTN saturn version, i would start giving free cookies, iirc there was some one trying to translate the game so it picked my intrest and see if i can check the two extra stages

          • The Turn off walls code is also helpful in SOTN. It can help you get outside the castle or check for hidden passages. It could be used in the PSX version to get under the grate at the castle entrance. And you can go inside the same place in the inverted castle, which is impossible to do otherwise. In the PSX version it could be made by simply starting a search in a room. Then go to another room either larger or smaller (width-wise I think) than it and doing a lesser than or greater than search. Repeat until you get the code. Then when you set the value to 0 the whole room would disappear. I don't think there are button toggle codes for Saturn so it'll probably mostly be useful in emulators where you can toggle codes on and off. But it could still be useful to explore and get to places you couldn't normally. I think the max value for a room in the PSX version of SOTN was 0F. Whatever it was, when you use the toggle button to set the room to that size it would restore all rooms to their normal size and restore the walls. I used this method to make a turn off walls code in the psp version of SOTN. That code is on the site. But toggling the wall back on don't work on that version for some reason. I imagine you could still use it to get in the hidden room by the castle door anyway.

I was referring to SOTN as I'm sure there are no other Castlevania games on the Saturn, and a WTW code would be better than a remove walls code in my opinion but let me see what I come up with.

There is the Dracula X chronicles version iirc and the one where the lecarde's and morris showed up

                • The turn off walls code would let you get under the floor. In the PSX version, there is a secret entrance to the Nightmare level, in the room where you get the Holy Glasses I think. But you have to remove the floor and fall to the bottom in a specific location. That only works in either the regular or inverted castle, I can't remember which. Probably the normal castle. In the other castle it simply goes to a black screen, so you have to reset to play again. Anyway, I tried making a WTW code on the PSX version and couldn't come up with anything. But it wouldn't hurt to come up with both codes.

I can only find a PSP version of this game, we are talking about the Saturn version only not any other platform. If you have a link to info on a Saturn version I will look into hacking it but like I said I'm pretty sure there is only one Castlevania game and its the Japanese version of SOTN.

True, but I could try to make a code that allows you to drop down any floor like you can on most platforms.

                    • Sega Saturn Castlevania NITM/SOTN (Dracula X) Action Replay codes

Hey guys, I am new to this forum, but I have been hacking Castlevania NITM/SOTN (Dracula X) Sega Saturn for the past couple of years.
I wanted to share some codes with you guys that I wrote that you might not have seen before...

                      TELEPORT CODES

Use a library card to teleport with these codes...

Fight Dracula at the end of the game 3605D751 0038

New game plus, you will teleport to the beginning of the castle and all
bosses and treasures will be reset 3605D751 0041 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpMOgwSEcjQ

                      Fight Bloodlines Dracula 3605D751 001F http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5r85atDBD4
To fight Dracula with Maria you must start a new game, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7k2YI_U8jrQ

Changing the last 2 digits between 0-99 will let you teleport to just about every location
in the castle or let you fight every boss in the game. If there was a debug room it would be some
                      where in these codes, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4RcMOok4uw

Use these codes after you teleport Alucard to the Bloodlines Dracula stage and kill him or
when you start a new game. False/Glitched Castles can only be reached by this method.

                      False/Glitched Castle 1 3605D751 002D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U-8X9MlKbY

                      False/Glitched Castle 2 3605D751 000D

                      False/Glitched Castle 3 3605D751 0002

                      False/Glitched Castle 4 3605D751 0022

                      False/Glitched Forest 1 3605D751 0055 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3BhhJpnKdo

There are many other False/Glitched Castles but I can't remember what the last 2 digits need to be.

This is a Action Replay glitch that I found occurs when two areas in the game try to load at the same time. The glitch can be performed by using the Action Replay code 3605D751 000C during the loading screen when staring a new game. Depending on the last digits of the Action Replay code, you may be sent to different default rooms. The rooms differ in size but not in there pattern of invisible blocks, this leads me to believe that this could possibly even be a glitched version of the Saturn debug room.

                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRxDyWbXF-k

Here are some other codes I wrote...

Character modifier code 3605C6D3 0000 for Alucard, 0001 for Richter, 0002 for Maria, all familiars must
                      be turned off, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYF7D2V7wFU , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiyUyAsxW0M

                      Alucard's Ultimate Healing Armor 3605C9B3 005E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6QXPL51Mcw

These codes move your position on the castle map, Horizontal 3605CE6B 0000, Vertical 3605CE6F 0000.

If you leave these codes set at 0000 and access the 1st False/Glitched Castle you can completely fill both maps.
Once you have filled both maps turn off the codes and use a library card.

These codes allow you to instantly be in a Matrix Room anywhere in the Castle.
                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KX_J...ature=youtu.be

                      3605CE6B 9FFF
                      1605CE6B 9FFF

This code will increase the amount of rooms you gain while moving on the map. If you use it in a Matrix Room,
you can achieve the max map percentage of 4,556,908.7 in about 2 hours.
                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Bb9Of0QMhg

                      1st Hand 1605C9A2 0???

No need to do half circle forward...most ultimate secret weapons automatically use the special attack with just one press of the button!

                      2nd Hand 1605C9A6 00B0

Increase the last 2 digits by one hex to change the weapon...so it would be 00B1...00B2 or
                      00C2...00C3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p0UOq8DVxA

because the code's alignment and code's value do not match with codetypes standards.

                        • How to use Castlevania NITM/SOTN (Dracula X) Sega Saturn Action Replay codes on SSF

First off, for this method to work correctly...you must be using SSF 12 Beta R3

If your save files of Castlevania NITM are on a older version of SSF...here is a video on how to transfer the save files to
SSF Beta R3...it should work with most older versions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ay6M7axwr3E

Once you have completed that, you will need to download Cheat Engine http://www.cheatengine.org/

Cheat Engine is basically a Game Shark/Action Replay Device, but it uses different coding.

To transfer a Action Replay code to a Cheat Engine code you will need to use a Hexadecimal calculator...like on
                          this web page http://www.miniwebtool.com/hex-calculator/

Then it is just basic math...

For a code like 3605D751 001F Fight Bloodlines Dracula...because it starts with 3605...

                          You will subtract 3605D751 - 2f7eb260 = 68724f1

This is the first part of your Cheat Engine code 68724f1

and to get the second half just convert 1F Hexidecial to Decimal...which would be 31 http://easycalculation.com/hex-converter.php

So your Cheat Engine code is 68724f1 0031

Here is a video of me converting codes and using them on SSF 12 Beta R3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kX9YSP_aj0

For a code like 1605CA0E 0063 Familiar Max Level...because it starts with 1605

                          You will subtract 1605CA0E - f7eb25f = 68717af

Then convert 63 Hexadecimal to Decimal...which would be 99...

and now you have your Cheat Engine code 68717af 0099

The coding of SSF is still a little bit different then a Real Sega Saturn...so with some codes you may have to
raise the Hexadecimal to Decimal conversion...so just go up or down 1 or 2...so

like with the Fight Bloodlines Dracula Cheat Engine code 68724f1 0031...you may have to make it 68724f1 0032 or 68724f1 0029.

And lastly, some of the codes just wont work at all or correctly on SSF.

                            • Yes, I wrote these codes using a Yabause emulator with a built in Yabause Action Replay device...are you saying they will not work on a real Sega Saturn? The Yabause Action Replay device reads all the action replay codes made by helder/Administrator just fine, it can only read and create codes in Action Replay format.

The only reason I had to make a way to use Cheat Engine software on SSF is because SFF does not have Action Replay capability.
So I had to convert them from Action Replay format to the raw coding Cheat Engine uses.

Sorry, I just saw helder's first post and thought all of this information was relevant to this topic.
I also apologize because I just realized the way I posted my codes was not in the format for posting codes.

Sorry, I just got to excited. I will reread the rules of this forum about posting.

The codes made by helder is hacked and tested on real Sega Saturn and he knows what he is doing.

Yabause bulit-in cheat is just fine

Your problem is you are using Cheat Engine, I assuming v5.61 is out of date and doesnt support alignment address which is mantdatory for proper hacking.

                                Edit:
you could use Saturn Action Replay / gameshark rom inside SSF emulator
