I have been able to make a master code for Assault Suit Leyons 2, it's not the standard Master code we all see for just about every game and is unique to this game. I will try to make one for AMOK next since I wasn't successful before and after a little experience with this game I believe I can make the code. If you have the game on a real console could you try it out in later levels? I only tried it in the first stage and worked flawlessly.

I'm finally done playing through the whole game and this is what I found. The Master Code works, but it has some Issues.

1. The game will crash right at the end of the "Dropship Scene" on the first level. I can bypass the problem by skipping the whole scene with the start button.

2. The game will crash if you die.

3. The game will crash if you Fail a mission.

4. The game will crash if you try to reset the console with the controller.

Everything else seems to work as it should. Let me know if you need anything else

What codes were you using? I wonder if its one of the codes that is causing the crashes or freezing. Could you test those problem stages or situations with one code on just to see which code it might be, it could be the Master code itself since I replaced a branch to make it work. When I hear back from you if the codes are the issue or not I will re look into another Master code if possible.

I tested the first Master Code you created with the following cheat codes:

Infinite Booster

I enabled one code at a time. It did not make any difference. I was still having the same Issues. I tried doing the same thing with the second Master Code you created, but the game will not start. It hangs at the SEGA Logo.

Thanks for your testing, it seems the Master code isn't perfect but any Master code besides the standard ones will have some issue since they replace an instruction but I can live with a little draw back if the codes work.

What is needed to get an A rank? is it the mission time related or are other things involved?

Are you Referring to the shield you carry? or is it something else later on in the game?

The Infinite Ammo code works, but it only works with projectile weapons. The "Infinite weapon energy" code (I should have called it "Infinite Energy Meter") is for the Laser Rifle. The Laser Rifle is a secret weapon and it can only be unlock by getting Rank A. It draws its power from the energy meter (the blue half circle thing on the top left side of the screen). Once the energy meter runs out of power, weapons like the laser rifle become useless. And as for the shield, yes I was referring to the one the Mech carries.

Helder, you're the man! Thanks to your codes I was able to unlock everything by getting Rank-A on all the Missions. There are four variants of the Laser Weapon. The L-10000, L-20000, L-90000, and L-90000X. You can unlock each variant by getting Rank-A or Rank-B on certain Missions. By the way, how come your having so much difficulty defeating the first Boss? Where you using the Infinite Shield code? Be careful with that code, It can turn enemies Invincible.

Ah that must be it, I wasnt aware it made enemies invincible. I will post the standard ram code and hopefully it will work on all levels and not affect enemies. Also what stages do you get the first laser?
