That would be nice If you add the ability to search for a lot of codesLast edited by Drakula1912; 03-02-2021, 02:35:45 AM.

Let me start by saying that the program will not work for every code. There are a few things...
1) Make sure you're using the newest version (ver 1.0). You can get the newest version of all the programs from my site (The Code Hut).
2) You're searching for RAM address FFE6AC, but when I look in our code page for that game (Spiderman Venom - Maximum Carnage), it shows that the RAM address for lives is FF077E. It doesn't really matter though because I checked using FF077E and still didn't get a match. As I mentioned before, the program will not work for every code.
3) You have a value of 2 entered and have the "Filter" button checked which means it will only find matches with an exact value of 2. In this game (and many others), the number of lives you start with is not exactly the same as the number that's loaded from the ROM. In this game, it looks like the actual number of lives that is loaded from the ROM is 3. The game counts the life you start with as one of your lives. You can always uncheck the filter button and check again if you don't get any matches. The filter button is mainly for RAM addresses that have a lot of matches.
Hope that helps.
P.S. I may update the program in the future so that it will work on more codes.
EDIT: You can also get all of the programs from here: https://gamehacking.org/vb/forum/vid...cking-programsLast edited by Tony H; 03-01-2021, 02:42:06 PM.

Since the hit anywhere code makes the game a little too easy, I've also included a Y axis only code.
Gain Ground (Genesis) Game Genie
DK4A-AA34
Hit enemies from anywhere, no matter where they are (works with all characters and weapons).
AK4A-AA4W
Hit enemies from anywhere when they're lined up above you (works with all characters and weapons).
Added.

Gain Ground (Genesis) Game Genie
This is for the 'Alt 1' version of the game, which seems to be the most popular version.
D2HA-AA50
Enable level select in Option menu.
AVHT-AAA8
Start each level above level 40 with 4 continues (you normally don't get any continues on level 41 and up, even if you had some from before). You can easily adjust this code to start each level (above 40) with as many as you want.
Added.

RE3T-E6VJ +
CN3T-F23L
Get about 5x more exp after battles.
RE3T-E6VJ +
E63T-F23L
Get about 10x more exp after battles.
A22T-EA88
Infinite HP in battle (all members of your party).
Added.

I do understand why you would want hexadecimal though, since a specific hex value like the one you mentioned (0707) would probably need to be figured out with the windows calculator. Will see if I can figure out a solution. Maybe have a second text box next to the decimal one with the hex equivalent, or something like that. If I switched it over to hex only, that might make it difficult for people that aren't familiar with hex.
Anyways, thank you for the feedback on this, I appreciate it.

I was also wondering if you could maybe add hex value support, like say, 0x03E7 in the future?
No rush though. The reason I ask though is for stuff like S3K that, in codes that I've see have the
the value of the emeralds address value code to 0707 to have both normal and super emeralds.
Also, it seems you are using Windows 10. Thanks for not dropping Windows 7 support. I never thought
that pcsx2 would drop support before Dolphin.

I've got the new version done and it now has 16-bit support for filtered searches and replacement values. Since the program knows if the value you're trying to make a Game Genie code for needs to be an 8 or 16 bit value, it will not let you use a value larger than 255 if the game is expecting an 8-bit value.
In the screenshot, you can see that it is an 8-bit value in the ROM (04), and I'm trying to use a value greater than 255 (2748). It will show you a message telling you that your value is too high, and that it's setting your replacement value to 255. You can then adjust your value to a value between zero and 255 and get your new Game Genie code. Note that every time one of your code matches is an 8-bit value, a "Only use values up to 255" message pops up.

A new Genesis Game Genie code encrypter/unencrypter. This one is different than all the others I've seen with these improvements:
*There are buttons you can click to easily insert NOP (4E71) or Branch (6002) instructions into the value box instead of having to type them in every time.
*The ROM address and value boxes use up and down arrows that you can click to increase or decrease the ROM address or value. This is handy if you have several ROM addresses in a row that you want to make codes for, and with just a couple clicks on the arrows, you'll have your next address (instead of having to type them in each time). Is also useful for increasing or decreasing branch instructions, etc. You can still type in anything if you want, or copy and paste.
*All of the text boxes have bigger font, so they're much easier to read.
*Will not let you type in invalid letters for your Game Genie code (I O Q U).
Again, thanks to Rimsky82 for the encrypt/unencrypt dll.

No complaints though, as it's a very nice tool. Even before I fully read the help I used it to make a rings code for S&K.
Then I decrypted the code with ggencoder and changed the value to 03E7 and it worked.
