ugh.

I wish you pal users / emulator hackers please use proper PS1 codetypes.

My codes work and that's what is important, there is no "proper format" there are codes that work and codes that doesn't work, and i can say that there are a lot of codes in a proper format that doesn't work at all.

When you make new codes use the format that you want, but if i take the time to make new codes the least that you can do, since you are not gentle enough to just say thanks to someone that contribute to the gshi website, is not make useless critics specially when you didn't say that the codes don't work. Some people got different projects running and we can't waste time using "proper formats"...


In other boards a reply like the one you posted making a critic just for being a "PAL user / emulator user" will be a banned one...

Is really sad that there are people like you that are only trying to discourage people in a way like that.

Going for parts:
- In other boards a reply like the one you used despising a member just for using an emulator or being a PAL member will get an infraction for flamming (your smilie said it all).
- You didn't point a mistake or a fact, you just point your point of view, there is no mistake in a code that works, and i always tested all the codes that i made before submit them here, is just that you prefer your way, but as i said if the code works i won't change it, it you want to convert it to other format that you want you're welcome to do it, but please don't blame the users just 'cause you don't like the way they post the codes.

Again, please, i'm only contributing my codes to the site, if you don't like how i post them, just convert them yourself or not use them, is your choice, but if you don't have anything useful to post in this thread (like if one of the codes doesn't work, adding them to the main site, or just say thanks, etc.), please at least don't make a reply that some users (like myself) could find rude.

Its not lack of interest. Adding codes to the database takes some time, and you submitted lots of them in only one post.

i think is cool and cute can share our codes with all, and can help others with our cheats.
so that because honestly, i think that beetwhen all we must keep the bad roll away, for not ruin this good thing

by the way, is not important, but i also are spanish.

ps: apart of this, about psx codes... well, is interesting guys...

i play right now castlevania synphony of the night psx version, and i notice one thing...
that character "maria" not looks like one simple image during intros... it looks more like are one playable char.

must be a way to make this with par codes!. the saturn version already have maria playable!, psx version not. i make one request for this for if someone are interested and can helps to make this true.

however since my graphic card is gone is a true surprise that the game works perfectly in my old pc, i use one emulator named psx or psxfin, that really rocks.

however not have cheat codes support. in fact i dont see none psx emulator that allow you use par codes, there exist one for use the codes, or you guys uses codes directly in the real psx with a cheat device?

right now i have been forced to use artmoney and i can find some codes from gamefaqs faqs converted for be used in artmoney with this psx emulator.

There wasn't any kind of trouble in the past, is just that i wanted my codes to be added to the site and that i can't test the codes in a gameshark only in PEC. Since there is no trouble now i think that i can contribute with the new codes that i will create in the future.

About Castlevania, Maria is a playable character for sure in the Saturn version of the game, and some people says that at least in the Japanese version of the game in Playstation is also playable but i had even tested with a savegame that unlocks all in the japanese version and the character not appear to be selectable...is strange for sure. But without more information there is few that can be done about it.

Maybe someone else completed the game in other way and can provide us a save if the character is a selectable one there.

about add the codes to the site, well notice that we must have some patience .

for say it in a funny way...

think in this site like if it are like a "castle".

they only are a few persons in the staff for "defend" the castle (the people that add the codes), but we "the attackers" of the castle (the people that make codes) are a lot...

so since there exist a lot of persons making codes, they cant add all the codes in a short time.


for example, i have some codes already posted for final fintasy VII eur pal spanish version, and many others for sonic and others games since some time that not was added to the site until now...

however, i know that they are surpassed with all that forum pages, full of codes. and that they dont have the time right now. so they do it when they can do it


apart, well i have to say that not are only add the codes...
i make lot of notes about problems and things related with the codes...

some are need to be added with the codes, and others maybe not are fully needed after all (maybe).
but i like to add these notes just for notice to the people what things or problems they can see by using my codes.


apart, I do not want to reopen polemics, but is truth that we have to take care when posting things...

is nothing new this thing i say. all we know that is easy that some things sounds "rude" or "wrong" when really we dont want that.
thats because the reader can see our face when talking, or symply cant imagine exactly what we talk about...

so thats what i say that after all, all these things not have none importance .

the only interesting/cool thing is these of can share our codes with else person around the world


about castlevania is interesting, and also is a pity that looks like only the psp version are like "completed".

you know, psx version lacks maria and some enemies. saturn version have all that, but only is playable in japonese .

in fact, i feel that this castlevania sotn has been a little mistreated until the arrival of the psp version... truth?


anyway is a very cool game, and the first of that new castlevania games that comes with interesting addons, as levels up, weapons/items and "new game +" features .

honestly i really enjoy it. and right now i think i already play all these "new style castlevania games" counting: sotn, all the gba games, and all the nds games until order of eclessia. (fastastic game "ooe" by the way. very recommeded! )

is curious that i dont know this saga only 2 years ago, and now is like metal slug saga... i cant live without it!
