  • Wow, there's alot of codes here. So impressive. I dunno if it's good to ask, but can I re-iterate a previous request for Megaman: the Wily Wars (Genesis)? You did say you were taking requests ...
    http://www.thegshi.org/vb/showthread.php?t=2566

Basically I want a code to change what weapon Megaman is equipped with ... so that, hopefully, I can use weapons from one game in another (like MM1's weapons in MM3 and vice versa).

You've done some Megaman stuff earlier for the NES games, so maybe you'd be into it.

http://www.thegshi.org/vb/showthread...wars#post15924 - Someone else did some Weapon codes ... maybe they'd be useful for my request. But it just unlocks the weapons from the menu ... not useful to access wapons meant for MM2 in MM3 (and the like).

    • I believe the codes have been done already in PAR form

      Items(and item/weapon digits):
      http://www.gshi.org/bsfree.php?s=11&d=5&g=2289&c=9120
      Weapons:

Don't bother asking for GG codes to the same effect, because as far as I can tell, it just isn't happening.

      • Well, there's a few problems with those code .... starting with that they don't work for me. Not the modifyer codes anyhow. They imput soemthing into those weapons slots, but it isn't weapons. Other codes work fine, so it isn't my ability to use the codes.

The other is that those are only for the final Wily Tower part of the game .... I'm talking about modifying the weapon for ANY game (Megamans 1, 2, 3, and that Wily Tower bonus game). If that's possible. Wily Wars is actually a compilation of the first three Megaman games (along with the bonus Wily Tower game) and you normally can't access one game's weapons (like MM1's weapons) in another game (like Megaman 2). You can access all weapons in the Wily Tower part of the game and that's the part of the game those weapon modifer codes work for. At least in theory.

I mean it SHOULD be possible to do this sort of code. Maybe you can't modify the inventory in one game to have another game's weapons, but you ought to be able to modify what Megaman's actually using. That seems like a universal thing in this compilation.

Game Genie's just me being very much behind the times. PAR is fine too.

        • Weapon Select
          FFCB3B:??

You still have to deal with the amount of energy left in a weapon, but they're accessible at least. See if this is what you're after.

          • Are you using the same values as the ones listed in the BBSFree board? I'm imputing them and they just mess Megaman up when he's trying to use them. He just doesn't shoot anything.

Right now I'm using Gens 2.12 .... if that helps any.

Edit: Know what? Don't need to worry about it. Using the level select I can bring in weapons from the Wily Tower game (where you can select any one you want) and the level chooser code (for the Japanese version of the game, MegaWorld) to choose a level. Although the level code isn't too conveinient ... I spent a lot of time having to map out which values worked -_-;. But thank you for your time, guys!

                            • Can any one do a By-pass Code for Virtua Racing (U) to play on a JPN Mega Drive

                              Comment

                              • Its Impossible for now

Virtua Racing has been emulated very recently (a few weeks ago).
To make codes for Virtua Racing you need an emulator like HazeMD with a debugger to make the desired codes. But unfortunatelly, there's not an emulator with support for Virtua Racing and a built in debugger at the moment. The only emulator for this game doesn't have a debugger, so, you'll have to wait a little more.
You can use a MEGA KEY adaptor to play it in your JPN Mega Drive.
