I keep noticing when I browse around that most spammers don't have very many posts. You can always take away the ability to post links for group registered users first join. There was literally hundreds of spam messages wrote in the last 24 hours, mostly in the 'groups' sections.
For instance, 42 pages of junk in the group awesome: http://gamehacking.org/vb/group.php?groupid=7
The What's New? section of the site was totally unusable because of all the spam.Comment
