My bad. I should have said that it is not part of the Final Fight series. It is a spinoff parody.Originally posted by rimsky82 View PostI find that hard to believe considering the games share characters and styles, not to mention are pretty much replicas of each other besides the obvious limits of 8-bit vs. 16-bit.Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. Somewhere under the brick & steel of a nondescript building. We've once again made contact w/ our leader, OSG

I never thought about a code where the AI for all NPCs is replaced by enemies that fight anything that moves, including each other.
I tried a little to get something out of that code for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 where there were no longer enemies, but I was dumber and more impatient then since that was the 3rd game I tried finding anything for by changing all lis values to 3f80. Any value that wasn't 3f80 always made all enemies disappear. I think I canceled the entire function and still had the same effect. 0, -1, -2, 1, 2, 10, 100, 1000, 7fff, all the same effect of enemies gone.

Not sure this is entirely possible without a very large code (custom routines most likely). It may be possible to have enemies home in on other X/Y coord addresses (such as another enemies addresses), but then you have to worry about them being able to hit each other. I think depending on the game it would be quite a bit of work, but at the same time would be cool as hell to see.Originally posted by bungholio View PostI never thought about a code where the AI for all NPCs is replaced by enemies that fight anything that moves, including each other.

I can put some in for you if you want. It's not so easy to get our hands on PC games to test then (unless we already own the game in question). Maybe we can work with games like Plants vs Zombies, and other obtainable games to where possible temp trainers can be made to test the codes. If you wouldn't mind generating tiny trainers as submissions (extra points of course) along with listing the memory addresses/values, then I don't see any issue with it. PC games are usually updating regularly, so I know the memory addresses won't last long beyond the time we test them (unless the game is out of production, and no longer receives updates)Originally posted by silentkiller View PostWill there be a PC game hacking on next Monthly Hacking Challenge #2?

How many credits will be given if I make a trainer for certain games?Originally posted by rimsky82 View PostInstead of building a trainer, it might be easier to submit a cheat engine table, if that's your weapon of choice.Keep Smile + Let's be together !! + Magical Glasses + Cowabunga + Superhero + Maximum Carnage

For now I believe we are going to use the cheat tables (exported from Cheat Engine) format for pc submissions (makes it easier to test, and also reveals the codes). I am having some problems coming up with a list of suitable games for pc (haven't really played pc games other than online ones as of late), so if you would like to PM me a list of PC games (free to download of course, and something I can link here) I may be able to get a list of complex hacks together for them.Originally posted by silentkiller View PostHow many credits will be given if I make a trainer for certain games?
BTW I have ended this challenge due to lack of interest in the remaining codes. Nolberto82 is the winner of this round! The next challenge can be found here.Last edited by Abystus; 04-01-2012, 12:53:23 AM.
