Am I the oldest person here?

Hell I'm nearing 30, I'll only stop playing video games when they pry the controls from my cold dead hands. I've played since the Atari 2600 Oddysee days, and I'm not stopping now, even if it is the classics I play more these days.

The greatest space fighter ever made, the Vic Viper.

Luigi is up there but no where close at a mere 46. I played alot of arcade games back in the 80's when vg's were hot and then a little 8-bit Nintendo in the 90's but psx was what sold me.

Am I the oldest person here?

Hmm... for once I seem to be in the younger group at a forum. Usually I wind up being the oldest at 29 (whenever an age topic comes up in most forums I frequent, most people are (or at least claim to be) around 15~19.
I am a 29 year old woman, and still collect and buy anime and 'Winx Club' dolls
I go for transformers myself. Fell in love with both transformers and gobots back in the mid 80s, and have been in love since (despite the crappy shows they've given us lately).

I think that is pretty neat. I mean well, that mid 80's stuff, even I remember that stuff (though I admit I have a way better memory then my sisters and brothers.) I being a girl well was not into those toys, but I do remember them pretty darn good, because well my brothers had all of that stuff.

And may sound 'strange' for a girl to say this, but I must say and admit, too bad they do not continue (with class) that older stuff for kids these days, I mean in a good way as you were saying, I see and saw that transformer recent cartoons of 'today' and yes they are not the best as they were then. (again told you it is strange for a girl to admit this. :P )

Now though Winx Club is 'new' and soemthing I like alot, though a 'childrens' thing hehe, I still must say girl mess and even boy mess (being I could not get away from it. :P ) toy wise and cartoon wise was ALOT better back then in the 80's....

I played with She-Ra ALOT, and He-Man was bigger and badder toys, but still, just was the way of the toys and times and even cartoons hehe (strange that She-ra dolls could NEVER sit in He-Man vehicles too right, and He-Man people were too darn big to sit in 'anything' She-ra made. :P ) and plus other then that those Transformers were 'metal' all my brother had... and when a fight broke out, and you hit him or someone else, or got hit yourself up beside the ehad with a transformer, you had to go to the hospital and get 'patched' up. :P I mean was just the times... these days toys are all 'soft' and safe...back then in the good days, heck, even I must say toys were better as pure toys (even the boy toys) and also as weapons when someone pissed you off.

Ahhh the good old days when She-Ra, He-Man, and transformers could not only be a toy, but a great weapon, and could indeed cause alot of blood shed, and soemtimes even the loss of an eye or something else. :P

Not that I was a violent sister, nor that my other sisters nor brothers were violent, but back then, the good old days, the toys as weapons and as 'toys' as they are meant to be hehe just kinda made us all of that 'age' more 'fit' for life. (Wanted to say somehting there that makes us sound bad and 'strong' but nothing to make myself seem 'manly' because I am not like that, but well am more 'hardcore' due to those days of getting teeth knocked out with metal toys and such. :P BABY teeth I mean and meant now, not got anything 'permanant' other then well maybe a little brain damage that makes me alot more violent then I should be.)

I loved the 80s toons; transformers, original he-man (the she-ra toon was pretty good too), GI Joe, voltron, robotech, dinosaucers, heathcliff, hell I even watched jem and the holograms. The new stuff just doesn't have the same magic.

In a way I like the 80s toys better than the new ones, but in a way the new ones are better. Many of the old ones had better looking designs than the new ones, but the new ones have much greater articulation.
