I almost like codecreators.org better, for the reasons you stated. It's more precise then gamehacking.

I agree, we should ultimately pick the name ourselves, but maybe have some kind of contest for the logos. Attract some good talent that way.Originally posted by helder View PostNice logo's rimsky, maybe we should have a Poll with the 3 top choices and have a mass email sent about the topic to get people aware of whats going on.

The two primary problems I see with using CodeCreators.org are
1. It doesn't state exactly what type of "code"(s) we create; it doesn't even mention games. Thus, to the layperson, we might seem like programmers, or Sunday newspaper cryptogram writers, or politicians drafting up new legal codes.
2. It smacks of the old GSCCC: the "GameShark Code Creators Club". This could be good, in that it draws some of the veterans to whom such a name rings a bell, but in my opinion would primarily be bad, in that it seems unoriginal, and identifies us with a site that we don't want to be identified with.
The two primary problems I see with using GameHacking.org are
1. It contains the word "hacking", which is inherently bad in the eyes of a large portion of the public, and also might not be "safe for work", as it will thus be on our banners, etc, and could even flag web proxies and alert systems (though we'll always have alternate domain names for use at work and for proxy avoidance). However, we already use the word all over the site, and I don't mind us doing our part to pave the way for proper use of the word.
2. Though it's more specific than CodeCreators.org in the general sense (it specifies that we hack games, not just create some type of code(s)), it isn't specific in the sense that it doesn't describe which type of game hacking we perform. At least CodeCreators.org specified that we create codes, and those that understood that we're a gaming-related site would then understand that we create codes for games, which is a fairly straight-forward understanding of our function. Try this: Google "PlayStation 3 hacking", and the majority of results will be related to either piracy or homebrew. Laypeople seeing only our domain name would likely assume that we are a site concerning one of those, or at least that there's a large possibility that such is the case.
After all is said and done, I still think GameHacking.org is the best choice, and a huge improvement over the four-letter acronym, GSHI.org.I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...
