I have a Genesis model 2 kept at a relatives house. However, I'm not sure if it still works. The last time I checked, it was missing the AC adapter. :/ I don't recall what games I still have for it, but I do remember finding T2: The Arcade Game in front of my house with the label missing as a kid. But if I could make a guess as to what games I might have or remember having at one point in time, it would be the following:

    Ecco the Dolphin
    Eternal Champions
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Cyclopsis was fun to use)
    Mortal Kombat 2
    NBA Jam T.E.
    Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
    Rocket Knight Adventures
    Sonic 1/2/3/& Knuckles
    T2: The Arcade Game
    Taz-Mania
Toe Jam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron

I added 15 more to my collection. I found this locally owned video game store in Pensacola, FL called Homefield Cards & Games. They had tons of different games for different systems.

Just added Dangerous Seed which is an awesome shooter from Japan & Zoop. Coming soon is Tetris. I don't think its the original. I think its a copy or homebrew version. I've heard that even the copies of this game can be expensive. The guy that sold it didn't seem to know whether it was a copy or the original. I only paid about $20.00 for it on Ebay. $12.00 for the game & $8.00 shipping, because its coming from Canada.

My god, you could at least keep the list in alaphabetical order!

Much nicer if I do say so myself.

If your Tetris is legit then you've got a bargin because I'm pretty certain the last one I heard of went for several thousand (don't think it was Japanese though) but I'm guessing it isn't just cause what's the chances of that actually being the case?

Anyways I have about the same size collection as you (193) and I'm surprised that we don't actually match up that much! You really need to get your hands on Mega-Lo-Mania (IMHO), it is a great game and although it is a port and I've heard the computer versions are better because of mouse support I've only played the Mega Drive one and think it rocks.

I know you've got it but if you haven't played it yet Dune is also brilliant.

Hezorg Zwei is a good sort of pre-cursor to the R.T.S genre as well if you like that sort of thing.

And I'm with the previous post, most sports games suck except Mutant Leagu Football and Hockey and also the NHL games which are pretty fun.

Thanks for taking the time to alphabetize my Genesis collection. The only reason I didn't to do that is because when I started the list, I didn't have time to sit there & arrange them. After I started the list, I began adding games to it & I didn't want to have to go back & renumber them. I have bought other games since I posted this list, I just haven't updated it yet.

While I haven't gotten an official word on the Tetris game, I'm sure that it is a fake. Even if its a fake, I still got a good deal on it. The fakes or pirated copies tend to go for a good bit more than what I paid for it.

No problem, I only done it because I recently moved my list from an excel spreadsheet to an access database so a quick query sorts it into order at the click of a few buttons If you'd like it done with the numbers in order and new games added just give me a shout and I'll fire it through again for you.

Yeah even if it is a fake (reproduction probably being more accurate) it's still a great buy and will look good in your collection

Is this being sold by a member from the Assmeblergames forum? Because I remember reading a post last week of a member who met him and got his case signed, or something like that. That is an insane price tag.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the guy.

After a bit of digging I found the post giving the story of the signed copy http://assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17291

I really want to know what he is selling it.

After looking at the picture of the signed copy of Tetris, my Tetris case & cartridge looks different than that. It doesn't even look like an official game (except for the shape of the cartridge itself).

Still awesome to have though. I reckon, even knowing it's not genuine, I'd still buy that for that amount. Lets face it, it's the nearest any normal person will have to owning Tetris on the Sega!
