I don't mean to convert them to another format but what guaranteed method can be used to extract them off the disc to be viewed within a player or reburn't to another disc at a later period, I'm guessing the proper method is to have the filesize exactly the same as the original file.
IsoBuster has various extraction methods none of them seems to be right
For example ROSCOE.STR from SCED-00820
Extract - 19,322,880 bytes warns of errors during extraction.
Extract RAW but convert to user data - 20,784,676 bytes
Extract but FILTER only M2F2 Mpeg Frames - Always ends up as 0 byte file, I guess that's correct though.
Extract RAW Data (2352 bytes/block) - 23,670,528 bytes
20,611,072 bytes extracted with UltraISO.
23,670,572 bytes extracted with CDmage.
I rebuilt a AR v4.2 disc with it containing the extracted str's using it's media browser and it could only play the one extracted with UltraISO it didn't have any sound playback though.
