Today I tried to visit the CMGSCCC forums. Here is what I encountered:



Yes, they have banned me. I guess this is due to my cb2get download script and the whole malware discussion (which is true, by the way).

This could mean two things:
1. The admins are unable to do something about the malware.
2. The malware is there for a reason.

Anyway, now I know what I should think about the site and its owner. But I'm not starting a flame war, everyone should form an opinion on the seen behavior.

BTW: The ads are still popping up, even though I'm banned.

Heh, it could also be simply because you're a member of GSHI, which...disagrees with GSCCC regularly, or because of a number of other things you've made, or said, that might've intimidated/irritated CM.

The ban's not that important, as it's not like any of us couldn't easily bypass it, regardless of whether it's IP-based or not. It's more of an insult that your name is banned, so you can't publically participate in the GSCCC "community" without starting anew or making it known that you're you, which would get the "new you" banned.

I wouldn't find it that much of a problem, as I haven't had a desire to drop by their forums in years.

Heh...in any case, it's no longer a member of the hacking scene, but a distant relative called a "cheat system support forum", and a bad one at that.

I agree. It sucks as an active member of the hacking scene. I remember when it was up and running perfectly spelling out codes like no tomorrow. Now this! Sigh.

I fear GSC is going in the same direction. I mean ads? What the hell? GSC has never been that popular, even when it had its database up in its glory days. Now you get... banner ads and admin banning people for their opinions. Long live GSHI and Kodewerx!

intresting iv never once actualy seen any Ads on the forum or on the Site .
but i do know if your not a Premium u will get ads/pop ups its been said a billion times about that in the forums . ba o well :P

Firefox? Nearly any browser can be much better than it is by default if the settings are modified, plugins are installed, or the user implements useful third-party applications.
