  • CMGSCCC is spreading malware

This is a bit interesting. When you visit http://forums.cmgsccc.com/, your PC will be infected with the exploit "EXP/Agent.B". You can use IE6 and Avira's AntiVir to reproduce it.

Don't know if the site owner is aware of this, but I guess he is...

I wonder how much CMX is making off that...

Looks like the issue is known since June 2006:
        http://forums.cmgsccc.com/showthread.php?t=16224

After one member's PC got infected, an admin suggested to use Firefox and a better antivirus program. That's all, the malware is still around...

          Ouch, that's a shame.

(P.S. This really should go in the announcements forum. Moved.)
[21:11:26] (Thunderhacker) type a domain at random and you'll likely land at one of two places
          [21:11:29] (Thunderhacker) pron site
          [21:11:32] (Thunderhacker) or GSHI

Everytime i go to the site i have to scann my computer with Ad-Aware. I usualy in IE get around 20 files. Also i am annoyed at the Porn pop ups that cum up.... I mean come up.(<_<)

Oh and the site is now red flagged by Macafee.

As in, nudity displayed in the popups? If that's the case, I'd say it's more likely you have an infection on your PC...I doubt they'd allow outright porn ads, especially with visible nudity...

Damn, CMX is a total ass... First he's pretending to be a corporation, then he's getting his board infected with stuff, and now he's showing porn ads... There's no way he's not making money off this.

                          Any comments?

                          What an intelligent answer.

The opinion of this user is: Either pay the money or get infected. Where I come from this is considered as crime. But who cares? The site admins? No.

I'd childishly mock his capitalization of "conspiracy", his incorrect spelling of "doesn't", and his Al Capone-esque, protection money attitude, as well as, I'm sure, several other things...only I'd have to set up an SSH tunnel to step around WebSense at work, and I'm sure I'm too lazy to visit GSCCC when I'm home.
