That's not a typo. 100 000% is proper use of the term...it just means we have a larger number of files in our updates than you do.

It's all fun and games until GSC.org comes back online and you guys piss your pants because the site is frickin' enormous now. It surprises even me, and I've seen a lot of codes in my day!

You have to unlock the safe in my pants to get the codes.

    P.S. Stop stealing codes.

Just tell me this... How are we stealing codes when you don't have any up?

This isn't an issue from the last five minutes. This was something hiro was doing and you guys supported him because you are all thieves.

No, we supported him because you had been stealing our content for several months.

Rune: Codes weren't stolen. They were copied, with credit, to make a point. This is something you cannot truthfully say about your actions. Then we removed those codes, having made our point and infuriated you. Not only does it seem apparent that you haven't done the same, but you're still taking codes from hackers at GSHI, as is apparent in your "updates". This is, by the way, the only indication that the database even exists.

You should have inferred from my use of "omissive" (though this hinges on your proficiency in English, your first language) that I was referring to the space you used between "100" and "000% larger". Perhaps it's Canadian custom to use a space instead of a comma, much like the European custom of using a period instead of a comma (eg, 1,000 [US] = 1.000 [Spain])...if it is, ah. If not, hah.

hiro was stealing from gsc ever since gsc.com was online. Even ask Viper187. That was roughly July of 2005.

Also, my apology goes out to Phil for the way this thread has become one of flames.

One day, the scene will be back to the way it was in ye olde days; until then, entropy will work the problem.

Phil is welcome back at .org. It doesn't look like anyone else /sincerely/ agrees with you here, my friend.

Phil and any other real hackers (Drgonzo and Tony Hedstrom come to mind) are welcome at kodewerx. Unintelligent idiots (Rune, erotic_horses, DarksPecker, ect.) are not.

I am slightly impressed to discover your belief that "once GSC comes back online", everyone will run in fear of its enormity. Truth is, it won't cause much commotion at all. It just happens to be a collective of work from others. The truly ironic thing is all the trouble you wish to put into "protecting" the content from people who would otherwise copy-paste it onto their own site; a processes which you have grown accustomed to as your new main source for new content.

Take note that though GSC is dead, if it ever does come back online, it can never return to its 'former glory'. It is a shell; a misguided archive of flattery. That is not the description of a leader. Your pipe dreams of domination are uncomfortably futile.

                        Erotic Horses...heh.

Rune: It's not that I don't try to be polite to people. Ask just about anyone; I'm perhaps too nice. Every time GSHI has calmed down and "been the adult" about the petty rivalry you felt the need to start, and taken measures to be amiable, you've either run around gloating as if we'd gotten scared and folded, or acted nice for a day, then started talking trash again with no provocation, like a fifteen-year-old high school punk, except that in real life, you would have already been taken care of ten iterations ago.

As such, you'll get absolutely no respect, sympathy, or forgiveness from me. As you pissed off everyone around you except for a few children and sycophants, and GSC doesn't really have a hacker userbase anymore, it's safe to say that GSC.org has finally been allowed to die. It was only a flawed replica of .com anyway, kept afloat by people like Parasyte and Viper.

                        [Edit]: @ Para's comment - I concur.

Oh, shit...Looks as if I've opened up some old wounds! That was not my intent at all! In fact, it was just the opposite!

I see no reason why the boards cannot peacefully co-exist, as Chevy and Ford do. There's plentya cyberspace out there!

I see no probs that cannot be worked out by intelligent individuals such as yourselves. I see no evidence that anyone has banged the other's significant other, defrauded the other outta any money, put the other outta business, or shit in the other's dinner bucket.

Hey, I have my pride also, but sometimes I just eat it. At my work, there's a man who takes credit for almost every job that I or a fellow worker do, but I simply ignore it, as this man is generally a good fella to work with, and my job is a UNION job, and I'm not gonna be paid any more or any less for getting credit for a job or for a screwup.

All of ya in this current scrum are excellent hackers, and it's a shame that people of such obvious intelligence cannot get together in some chat room & work things out. I've seen several other great sites of the past go up in smoke because of similar 'wars'. Both of your sites, and Tony Hedstrom's "Code Hut" are, IMHO, the best code sites going right now, what with all your awesome hacking guides!

This reminds me of a scenario from Jules Verne's From The earth To The Moon. The Baltimore Gun Club President, Barbicane, the greatest cannon maker of the day, had engaged captain Nicholl, the best armor maker of the time, to help in the construction of the gigantic cannon which was to fire the manned shell to the moon. However, those two men were bitter rivals, and, during the cannon's construction, their argument became so bitter that one challenges the other to a duel, to be fought with rifles, each starting at opposite ends of a forest. Anothwer man, in the project, a Frenchman, Michel Arden, sought to be a peacemaker. He journeyed into the forest, knowing he could be shot by one of the adversaries.

He first found Nicholl, who was at work trying to free a bird from a spider web. He asked Nicholl, if he could thus show kindness to a bird while laying his rifle aside, if he couldn't show similar kindness to Barbicane, a fellow human. Soon they found Barbicane, who had laid his rifle aside also, busy at calculations for the cannon. Both men laid aside their differences, as they'd done their rifles, for the sake of the great project. Together, they figured out how to allow men to stand the shock of the cannon shot, etc. & soon forgot their feud.

I shall continue to hope that such brilliant people as are involved here can find some common ground for a cessation of hostilities. Again, no one's livelihood, finances, or love life is at stake here.

                          Cheers,

                          Phil The Hammer

I think the only reason Rune keeps GSC going is because now that it's a nuthouse, he actually appears sane. Well, at least until he steps outside of its fortified boundaries.
Judge a man by his questions and not his answers.

Phil: Sounds like an interesting book. As said before, I've tried several times to make peace with Rune, and he never fails to spit at the effort. I'm a nice guy for about the first forty times or so, and then I cut all your fingers off and hang you upside down until you bleed to death. I have a great deal of respect for almost anyone who endeavors to be the peacemaker, so don't take this badly, but I don't think peace is possible with Rune. Peace is possible with GSC; as in, it can rest in peace.

Also, I forgot Tony Hedstrom's Code Hut. He's also in our list of favorites.
