His "i'm sorry" is complete BS. He had to upload the video first, so he knew what was going to happen.

He's been making over 5 million a year so he can still live comfortabley the rest of his life if he don't spend foolishly. Does this mean he can't monetize his videos anymore?

              No surprise there.

You can say whatever you want, so long as the left agrees with it .

              Down with political correctness.

The first amendment was created to protect all speech even if you dont agree.

Just look at what those morons did in Berkeley. I would consider myself alt-right even though I dont agree with everything they say or do. This group of people is tearing through the lies of political correctness and lies of the media is being exposed by the Internet.

Pewdiepie was born in Gothenburg, Sweden and currently lives in Brighton, England with his girlfriend, so I am not sure if the First Amendment applies here. I don't know anything about Swedish law other than Sweden wants Julian Assange so they can try him in court on rape charges, and I don't know much about the laws of the United Kingdom, which England is a part of. (FYI-the Second Amendment is the right to bear arms)

That's what the first amendment is for. The 2nd amendment gives you the right to bear arms.

Anyaway. I find it funny that PewDiePie gets punished for making a Nazi Parody, but there are videos on Youtube of people saying that white people should be sent to death camps and there are videos of feminsts championing physical violence towards men and nobody bats an eye.

Yeah I meant the first amendment sorry about that.

As for your second paragraph, I agree completely.

He hasn't been arrested; companies just decided they didn't want their brands associated with him. He could probably still have the videos up if he wanted. YouTube (the entity, not the community) in general is pretty tolerant to controversial content, even legitimate hate speech in a lot of cases. And isn't PewDiePie Swedish? So the hell are you talking about the First Amendment for? Did they add it to the Ten Commandments recently or something?

I don't know if I'd think the videos warranted having the ads pulled. It seems like most of them have been taken down by PewDiePie himself, and sorting through his thousands of other videos, looking for what people might have taken offense to holds no appeal for me. As I recall, his shtick is mostly playing video games and screaming at or about them like a four-year-old girl.

He is Swedish, but the origin of (((YouTube))) is America.

As I stated on my official twitter account: Political correctness can blow me!

I'm not defending pewdiepie, I'm defending free speech. Personally, I have no desire to watch his channel but I am remaining subscribed to him to prove a message.

Yes, but the First Amendment doesn't really apply unless a US government has taken action against someone under US jurisdiction. The amendment may contain the principle of free speech, but the guarantee it offers is fairly narrow. Disney and YouTube, as they're not governments, could back away from him even if he was head-quartered in New York without violating the First. And as he's Swedish, the Federal government could theoretically drone-strike him for provocative speech without violating the letter of that particular law.

From what I understand any of his videos that were deleted weren't taken down by YouTube, but by him. The companies involved just demonetized them, which is something YouTube will do automatically for content that advertisers don't want to be associated with. In some cases, their algorithm will remove ads for something as mundane as excessive swearing.
