Man, that really sucks. Some non-EB/GameStop used game stores might have a genesis... But most places are too cheap to bother with anything old.

the only video game store i know that has a sega genesis is cash for games and they want $60 for the damn thing and i was like oh hell no

Try a samll retail store, or the buy and sell magizine.

i wish somebody can help me out here to get a sega genesis i can't take this anymore with out playing that system i need to get back in to makeing more game genie codes for this site i love it to death so can anyone buy one for me and send it to my house i would really like that.and help you guys out with this site.its so awsome!!!!

Try using an emulator or buy a cheap one.

Actual genesis consoles tend to be overpriced for some reason. The ones I've seen tend to go for more than an old psx does.

Nah, in a buy and sell mag they go for like 40 euro.

The average psx goes for about $30 USD around here, and when there is a genesis on sale, it's about $50 or more... Right now: 40 Euros = 51.24 U.S. dollars...

It rarely even comes with controllers. Tends to be the unit itself and a power supply for it.

Seriously, over here they go for like 50 Euro and around 5ish games.

Problem around here, is there's only one store that sells older used game stuff. There are a few EB stores, but they would laugh at you if you went in there looking for anything not fairly new.
