That might not be unreasonable. I'd make sure it was in good shape, before handing over that kind of cash for it. Also, it may not be a wise purchase if it's the Genesis Mk. 3 system, which may not even work with a GameGenie at all. It's known to be buggy with some games, if nothing else. Easily recognizable as being very small for a Genesis system.

If you want a genesis, that'd quite likely be a very good one to get. You can't beat brand new, and that's a good model too.
