True I live in USA North-East Coast, too bad since I just got me a replacement stick for one of my n64 controllers and will be testing that out and if its not up to par I will do that mod I talked about but I have no real interest in n64 at this time so it might go in the list of things to do.

Fixing N64 Analog Sticks

All I really want is a decent wired N64 pad with a stick that won't wear out. I have some third-party pads but they all have other problems.

Depends on what kind of wearing out is happening with your analog stick, but I've found this video from lukemorse1 to be very informative about fixing it:
