Developer Rinnegatamante released a plugin for your HENkaku-enabled PS Vita: rinCheat. As the name implies, rinCheat lets you create and run cheat Codes for your PS vita games.

Unfortunately, my PSVita is on firmware 3.51, so no HENkaku for me, otherwise this sounds interesting and I hope to try it soon.

Rincheat BETA v0.1

Rincheat features:

– Cheats Database support
– Real-Time Cheats with a Stack searcher+injector
– Screenshot feature (Press L+R+START)
– Clockage change
– Decrypted savedata export/import
– Stack dumping/restoring
– Autosuspend hack to disable autosuspend feature of PSVITA

How to use Rincheat BETA v0.1?

1. Download “rinCheat_BETA” and extract it. Copy “rinCheat.suprx.db” and “screenshots” to ux0:/plugins. If there is no plugins folder, you can create one new folder named plugins.

2. Open ux0:/plugins/game.txt and add this line to to the txt: ux0:/plugins/rinCheat.suprx 1

3. You can press SELECT+START to open rinCheat menu during game session.

Tip: If the game cashes after you press SELECT+START, it means the game can not use cheat correctly. The next release might solve this problem.

The db folder can be placed cheat file which is named as TITLEID.txt. The syntax for cheat file is:
#CHEAT NAME
@offset @value @size

It should be noted that you need to dump your game in order to use rincheat.

I honestly couldn't make any cheats using this tool so I'd wait for it to get better and be useable on cartridges.

rinCheat SE is a stand-alone, vpk version of the popular cheat plugin rinCheat.

Instead of manipulating the data on-the-fly like the plugin version does, rinCheat SE injects any cheats you want to use into your exported save data (either by rinCheat or Vita Save Manager).

You can see all the supported games by clicking here and checking the savedata tab. It also functions as a database updater for regular rinCheat.

Resident Evil 2 - Revelations

Hello everybody!
I recently read that to use the cheats codes of the game Resident Evil 2 - Revelations with rinCheat it is necessary to make some modifications in the file eboot_origin.bin with a tool (Hex Editor).

Anyone who knows the subject and has this MOD file, could make it available for download or tell me where can I find the eboot_origin.bin MOD?
