Decompressing Sly Cooper files? (PS2)

I am wanting to hack this game, but the game has compression. Is there any way to possibly decompress the game so I can hack it a bit?

Compression in what way? If you mean the wad file, then do a search for "wad file ps2" (without quotes). That will lead you to some helpful programs.

I'll keep it easy on the threads XD and Sly also uses a format called .WAL
