Hi, this my first post and I'm a total noob
I want to be able to detach the camera from my assassin's head in Assassin's Creed (PC version) for screenshot purposes, has anyone here done that before? I'm completely new to the world of game hacking although I know a bit of programming (if I just had the source code in C and could recompile that'd be great
)
At the moment I'm using the cheat engine program but the whole finding addresses thing is new to me and also whenever I do any debugging stuff to find the source I get various crashes from using different debuggers with different settings or it's just hard to find what I'm looing for.
I saw someone on Youtube did it (malu05 / Mads Lund) and he commented that he found with the camera stuff an "un-hook-from-char" which interests me as while I was searching for the camera addresses on Cheat Engine I noticed that some of the addresses that seemed most likely to be related to camera position didn't have values that were relative to the world but relative to the characters position - for instance if the camera was right by his butt and he was at the beginning of a corridor, and then I made him run to the end of the corridor, the value would not change.
I guess at the moment I'm just looking for somone to chat this with because I'm completely stuck for how to approach this
