How to modify certain codes that related to Time codes?

Decrypt? I thought omniconvert is only used for converting codes. I did use that earlier but it came out this... 06600C9B 097A07A1. So I thought it might be something else. How do u decrypt anyway? I wanna learn how to do so. thanks. (am using v1.1.0)

You have a codebreaker code. It is an old codebreaker code. Set input to the old codebreaker encryption and output to standard unencrypted. You might have a bad definition of convert, encrypt, decrypt when dealing with cheat devices. All people mean is to convert from 1 cheat device format to another. Taking some format and decrypting it to display the cheat device code type, actual addresses, and values is decrypting. Encrypted is taking actual codes with their code types, addresses, and values to some cheat device encryption is encrypting.

Thanks. It makes a lot of sense now. I was having trouble, trying whole night how to make the codes you posted. It came to no end. And yeah, I definitely have a bad definition of convert, decrypt and encrypt... that's why I was confused. From time to time, I used to convert codes to raw and most time, it's quite easy. Until this time I was bumped to wall. LOL. That's the reason why I created this thread. But one last question. How do you determine which codebreaker is old or new? & thanks again for the explaination.

i dont know if this can help you, but the way i do that over retro games, like genesis games etc, is always count only one part of the counter.

at least there, the code not control all the time counter. and theres a few codes that controls the seconds, and other the hours for put an example.

is the same case that when tou try to cheat the points or money counter on one game. usually you should need to hack the last numbers of it, and by change the code adress in +1, you will have the code that change the next part of the score.


for example, i do that on super hang on, for obtain an infinite money pro action replay cheat code. i need to count the last 2 numbers i think, and then i modify the codes for obtain the next 2 numbers on the score.

if the counter ended on "00", because the minimun value you can get is 100 points, then you should need to count starting from the 3rd number counting form the left. yeah, thats the "1" of "100" points.

maybe in ps2 or ps3 games you can have complete score/time codes because the game and pro action replay uses more memory and digits for the codes.

but anyway, usually you should not need all the codes... maybe if you can find the seconds code, minutes dont move on the game, and then you obtain the thing what you like...
