I'm not sure there's any programs for it, but I have some idea of how to do that. Only problem is some things don't convert. Having looked at the file around here, it seems that it's probably only the "mega codes" that don't convert. But those are probably rare.

Here's some info about the types, though it's rather inaccurate in a few places (specifically, the things involving GS types):

    http://www.thegshi.org/faqs/advancedexplorercodes.html

It also neglects to mention that the "slide code" is limited to 0F repeats, and can only be used in increments of 2... I ought to really look into how that works, in case somebody would want to make a converter. Can't do it in php though...

There IS a slide code convertor, however, it doesn't take into consideration, the limitations. So if your repeater changes addresses by 1, and repeats 255 times then it'll make the xploder code like that, I convert PS1 repeater codes to xploder format on the GSCCC.com forums.

Here's a really good page that shows a ton of code types for different devices.

the link contains an anchor link which should take you right to the beginning of Xploder code types.

I need an example. Can you give a step by step showing how this is converted and the result?

Ah, that's one of those damned encrypted Xploder codes. And, amazingly I found out how to do it:

          http://www.gscentral.com/view.pl?Hac...p64_encryption

Though, that's rather complicated. I used to know of a program that could decrypt those, but I seem to have lost it.

Okay, I tried decrpting that code, and here's what I got:

            Type 1: 82CF A4C5 36C1

            Type 2: 83A6 6A0C AB4E

Now, I don't know if that's even the correct decryption. But if it is, my guess is the second one is the right result. Wait a minute, there's an easy way to find out... I just try using that code and see what I get, if anything...

Strange! Everything I have compared tells me that the first three digits should be "800". But, I could be wrong.

In the case of Xploder, it might not be. But I'd think it should still be at least 8?0...
