Play Back-up disk on PS2

How do i play my back-up Cd's of my PS2 games. (yes i do own the games)
i have the back-up ROM's on my computer. i put the game on the disk but the PS2 will not play it. i'm guessing i need a program,
i read you can but in a mod card, are use a Boot disc?

i read the book disk is better be cause you don't need to open my PS2. and i still got my game-stop warranty on it so that would be best.

just let me know whats best and how to do it please.

its a backup of my ROM i Own the game. so it is not illegal. i asked Sony they told me as long as i don't sell it. are give it to others. so it is not piracy.

Back-ups, and running back-ups on a ps2, is illegal, no matter what Sony told you. I find it hard to believe that Sony told you that anyway, since a back-up is completely useless unless you modify your system or use a swap trick.

This site is about modifying games. There are countless other sites that risk the legal battles and discuss modifying systems, where you can get that information. And no, I won't link to any.

As long as you understand this, your account won't be deleted. Don't talk shit about this site either, we help people in game hacking all the time. What we don't do is put up with bullshit for too long.

Well Sony did say it was OK. and i guess whoever told me did not know anything (are did not care)
I would believe some one who worked there world not tell me something illegal.
and about the site..maybe i should not blame the whole site. but when i first got on this site and asked for help i never got any.
only others telling just to get a game shark for my Pokemon emerald. when i was asking how to Mod my Pokemon emerald game. (still never got it)
And i was not trying to do anything illegal. So there is no need to curse me out.

Cheating in a game and hacking a console to play pirated are totally different things, we here help you to cheat in games to get more fun out of the games. What cheat device do you have for the GBA? it would be preferable to have an AR3 to have pokemon mods work.

OK. I don't have any cheat device. i have had two game sharks both died a week after using them.
and know they cost $80 for a new one. is there no other way to cheat my GB-SP?

Only other way is to have a flash cart with roms, these flash carts support cheats but only for the roms in the flash cart not your actual pokemon cart. I see what you mean for prices for a cheat cart but this one seems priced well.

ok thanks i have a rom of my pokemon. but i cant like put it back on my gameboy. i can play it on my computer but that's kinda odd for me.

If you use Visual Boy Advance you can use any gameshark/ AR codes with that. Otherwise here's a gameshark for $30
