  • FF7 Debug Room Joker Help

I'm having problems going leaving the Debug Room with this code:
    D4000000 0104
    80049250 0000
    D4000000 0101
    80049250 0001
    E0049250 0000
    8009A05C 0041
    E0049250 0000
    8009ABF6 0041

I can get in just fine and everything works, but when you try to go into a new area it'll kick you back to the main screen. The details of the code say that X+L1+Select turn the code on and L2+Select turn the code off. But even after doing the commands, I still can't go anywhere. I tried analyzing the code and it seems like L2+Select turns the code on while L1+Select turns the code off to me.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

I don't know where you got that code that you are using, try using this code:

    8009A05C 0041

When you get to the "NEWGAME/Continue?" screen start a new game and switch off the GameShark.

    Then read this FAQ.

      change the 0000's to 0001
      that should fix the code

Though your response is helpful, it doesn't apply to my needs.

I don't have a gameshark, I am using an action replay boot disc. Therefore, I need a Joker command to turn the code off.

I got the code from this very site.

EDIT: I did find another Joker command for the Debug room, but it only works on the PAL version:

        D01D252C 0000
        80099F2C 0041

This one works by changing the Red value in the RGB value in the config menu. If it's 0, it enables the code. Anywhere else and it's off.

I did try to replace the PAL version of the Debug room code with the US, but the game froze trying to load the room.

I figured I'd mention it, incase it was any easier to figure out.
