  • hacking on a mac

    Hello,

Ive been visiting this site for a while now, reading a lot of tutorials. But Im stuck at a very basic problem. Most of the programs mentioned in the tutorials (MHS, TSearch, AutoAssembler ...) are not available for mac. So my question is:

Are there any alternatives for mac?

Ive found "iHaxGamez", "Bit Slicer" and "The Cheat" so far. But they are all lacking the "find out what accesses this address" function.

    I appreciate any advice.

P.S. please don't give the advice to buy a PC or install linux or something, cause I simply won't.

an alternative would be to program it myself. I know C/C++ and Java and I know a little Assembler. But Ive never really worked with accessing and analyzing other processes before. So I have no idea, if this is a project that is too big for me.

It's strange that there are no breakpoint/watchpoint capable hacking systems for Mac...especially when so many hackers use a Mac as their primary PC (yeah, I know people use the term 'PC' to refer to a non-Mac, but come on...it stands for Personal Computer).

Maybe someone can nudge Parasyte about a solution to this problem. He's a big Mac proponent, and an adept hacker/developer.
      I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

Yeah, I've noticed a lack of good stuff for linux as well. Moreover, a lack of shit you can easily run. The thing I hate most about linux is that all these idiots expect you to compile it yourself and figure out how to get it running. We could definitely use some assistance with useful apps/emulators.

So I take it, there are currently no such apps?

This question may sound stupid, but how are they doing it then? Ive tried to find some Mac game hacking tutorials but couldnt find anything useful.
Does anybody know such a tutorial?
