Any recommendations on a good Gameboy emulator that you can make your own cheats on? I've been meaning to get into GB games for quite some time but would like to know what emus people at thegshi prefer before I delve into it.

VBA is the best GB/GBC/GBA emulator, period.
If the version here still retains the annoying "feature" of saving your codes and all the other emulator settings whenever you make a save state, then try this TAS version that is much more improved:

Actually, for code making, the enhanced emulators on the tasvideos.org site are perfect.Last edited by ReyVGM; 03-07-2011, 02:43:34 AM.

Cool, thanks Rey. I'm on an RPG kick and after playing through a couple Famicom translated RPGs decided to tackle a few of the GB ones that I have been looking at for, oh, 20 years or so. Will tackle Great Greed next. There's already Game Shark codes for that one on the site so I won't have to hack any codes just yet.US NES games left to beat: 3
Last 2: Nobunaga's Ambition II and Gemfire
