Why would you need to find a master code o.o Are you not able to load home brew and are forced to use commercial cheat devices or something?

The reason for game's ELF hook is to control the activation of codes when correct ELF is loaded and deactivation of codes when wrong ELF loaded.

I know about your argument with jimmikaelkael & misfire about hooks, but have to agree with them.

Take a look at CodeMajic.elf, kernel hooked. Take a look at the recent cheat devices I developed, kernel hooked. Take a look at the CL-LiveDebug v3, kernel hooked. Catch a pattern? My point is this, you don't need a game hook if you hook from kernel. Game hooks are a waste of time and energy, when you can have a master hook from within kernel that never changes between every PS2 console. As for loading codes for the wrong game, that's a user error, just pay closer attention to what game and what codes you use. Plus you can always run the Code Stopper (0xC) command at the top of your code list to check a certain value at a certain address to ensure it's the proper game the list is being used on. There is literally no point in using a device that requires a master code...

Whoever you agree with on that argument is your decision, however I have proven the kernel hooking system to be dominant. Which is why I say, just use a home developed cheat device to patch codes for games, rather than having to find a master code. Not trying to be an asshole, but kernel hooking is the dominant way to go. Not just saying that as talk, but saying that as fact.

Like I said, not being an ass, just stating facts. Which is why I asked if he doesn't have the ability to load home brew.

I can boot homebrews but the only homebrew cheating program that I tried was ps2rd but since I don't use my laser(I use OPL and internal hdd)my last attempt to use it was 90% failure...only one game from 5 worked(the other games just freeze)
