count 01, 00. little method for find enable select stage/cheats and other rare codes

i talk about this in other post, and i think that can be a good idea talk about this little method for search rare things. for learn beginners or else others, who dont know this.
in some situations, you can use one really interesting method and not needed find one code by "equal/different" comparison method.
this works for enable level select or cheats, and make they are on.
the symply thing you need is start the game, and with the cheat enabled count 01. and then do one hard reset to the game, and with the cheat disabled, now count 00.
this can give you the code really more easily than make the "equal/different" method, and also in less steps for find the code.
one example of this are the streets of rage 2 enable level select in options code, or have roo since beginning in bare knuckle 3, for say some examples.
also is really recommended that if you use (like me) the kegafusion emulator, and their pro action replay finder, you can also use save states.
this is useful for avoid do the same again and again with the game, just for count 01, 00.
and also... dont forget use your imagination!. with this little method, you can count several rare things, like some i see.
here some interesting examples. for you can see what type of search can be performed:

the first time i noticed this, are with "in the hunt" playstation game.
is possible count: 01 submarine alive, 00 submarine explodes (dead). so with this you can find one invencible code.
since i see this, i also use this for final fantasy VII european pal version (im from spain). i see that usa players have some codes for play with sephiroth, but i dont know how they make that, and these codes dont works in my pal version.
but sephiroth is not only one secret character, is also invencible... but finally i remember that "in the hunt" code and make the same with else char in else position of the group.
01 char alive, 00 char dead. then is use this code with the "have sephiroth code" i make, so finally i can make sephiroth appears died.
then you only need dissable the code, resurrect him, and now him are playable .
finally the last example. even i use this method for count: 01 door open, 00 door closed, in double dragon 2.
by the way, in this example, really funny things appears... because this make you open the door for billy exits before the machine gun bad guy kill marian during intro!.
and is curious see that the enemys are real enemys (not images) so you can kill they.
also one enemy have marian carried with him, and if you kill him, one sprite animation of billy kissed marian appears!.
i post this code for old mame32 in puggsy cheats forum, long time ago.
the code causes some glitches to work (for some really rare raison you need use savestates for make the game do one rare reset, but finally it works).

i remenber one last thing: sometimes, for some rare raison, these type of search dont works if you dont do it at reverse. (example: 00 alive, 01 dead). remenber it!

i dont know nothing more of hacking, only search codes by pro action replay in some systems (genesis, playstation, emulators etc) but after several years finding codes, i learning some tricks...
now i really want to know, how hells the people here got game genie codes (some absolute incredible like these so1 code that makes you can move antonio boss or the same with golden axe 3 enemys controlable by p2), because i dont know how they make that, since game genie dont have code finder.
