    NES Raw Codes

    I'm really sorry to ask such a stupid question, but are raw codes the same thing as pro action replay codes? The reason I'm asking is that in Nestopia, all the codes on this site you add to the Raw section of the cheat window, and I thought that the codes on this site were in PAR format.

      Yes, people frequently refer to raw (unencrypted/unencoded) codes as 'PAR'. This is usually technically incorrect, as the PAR (Pro Action Replay) never even existed for most of the systems in question, but it's nonetheless a prolific piece of jargon.
      I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...
