  • How do I use turbo commands?

I saw a code for FFVII called a "turbo joker command" what does this do? does it automatically "turbo" any button you press? that would be pretty useful for me flaying FFVII since I'm playing through the game for the MILLIONTH time, but this time no stat hacking, level gaining, materia maxing...

mmm... maybe it would be a good idea to try the code before asking...

If it IS for something besides "turboing" a button, let me know please.

yeah its just like pressing the button repeatedly generally its just a loop code
often done with the same joker code
which just cleared after it is pressed

ok, so have to use another joker code for this? i'm still a little confused with this, but i'll try putting a joker code in front... but it seems that the FFVII turbo command that i found seems to have a activator as the first line... it kinda looks like it will defeat the purpose of using another button activator above it... i used the code alone (replacing the xxxx values with the button I wanted to turbo)

wait, come to think of it, I believe I know how that will work, i guess i'll have to try it...

nope i'll show you an example of how it works
i'll use BIO Freaks as an example
        Joker Command D009A0EC ????

        D009A0EC 0001 (once L2 is pressed)
8009A0EC 0000 (same address equals zero)

generally resulting as if you are tapping the button repeatedly

mmm, seems like the turbo command for FFVII on codetwink is messed up somehow...

          D009AC5C ????
          80114454 0000

after looking at your example, it doesnt seem right... what should i use:

          D009AC5C ????
          8009AC5C 0000

          OR

          D0114454 ????
          80114454 0000

then again 9AC5C seems like it would work, because it is a joker command to begin with...

sorry for asking questions that i could probably test in 5 minutes, i'm trying to learn HOW they work rather than just knowing whether or not they work.

Come to think of it, i'm using a GS CDX 3.3, and patch codes wont work for it, maybe turbo codes wont work either, then again, regular joker codes work, so why wouldnt a turbo code... well i'll have to try.

(I just realized how far i've come from since my first post on this site... I can understand Hex to Decimal, most code types for GS and amazingly, found a way to fix my "Play with Sephiroth in party code")

I thank everyone who helped me, and to whoever worte "Secrets to professional Gameshark hacking" (I can't recall who at the moment)
