Please forgive me, but I need help with the codes on this site. For example NES - Kid Niki (PRG1), Invincibility is listed as these two codes:
000088 00
0000f4 00
What format is that, and how do I properly convert it into a game genie code? I tried and no luck.

As the note seemingly hidden under !-Important Note on using the codes on this page states:

The codes you find here are all in Pro Action Replay format unless otherwise noted.

These can easily be converted to work on FCEUXD emulators though. You just need to remove the first 2 numbers.

Example: If the code is 001234 FF You can make it work in FCEUXD by removing the two zeroes at the beggining. Thus the code would become 1234 FF.

Also note that GG means Game Genie.

Codes on this site are not guaranteed to work with the real console.

As far as converting them to GG format, that's only sane if the codes point at a ROM address. Otherwise the codes will need to be remade as assembly hacks that do alter a ROM location.

Great, thank you. Now these codes stop the music, any way to fix that?

I'm not sure how to fix this.

When you press start to pause and press start again to go back to the game, the music starts over until you get hit again.
