I have a working Sephiroth code!!! but......

i modified an existing code from another website and made my own play as Sephiroth code, the only problem is, when i enter a town the game freezes. i've tried using a sprite editor, but that doesnt seem to fix it, everything else seems fine other than the in-town problem. here is the code if someone wants to mess with it...

it replaces the third character in your party (regardless of who it is) with sephiroth, he uses all of Vincents stats, so if you change Vincents weapon it also changes Sephiroth's stats, and the best part is, you can have vincent in your party at the same time.

Yes it does look suspiciously similar to the "sephiroth replaces Vincent" code from Codetwink.com but since the one from that site wouldnt work for me at all, i decided to use my own.

but like i said, in-town keeps messing up... so feel free to mess with it if your willing to help.

If you want to play as Sephiroth without a code, use CDMage to replace the Sephiroth battle model with Clouds's.
You can also switch the map model of Cloud with another character (like Aeris), but not Sephiroth.

thats going to be hard since i'm using a PS1 console lol... but i have used some mods for the PC version, they turned out ok, if i had a modchip in my PS1 i would probably try that, and burn it off, but alas, i have almost ZERO access to modchips... but whatever. i guess i'll stick to my Gameshark.

really i only made this code because when i put the original code ALL of the characters in my party were replaced with sephiroth.

I take it you didn't know that all models of PS1 have the ability to play burnt games, including the slim model.
Just look up 'disc swap' on youtube.

oh yes, i knew, but its safer to use a mod chip, plus its not all that important to play as sephiroth anyways... and playing It on PC is easier than any of it.
