  • Configuring C.E.P to working with other emulators

I notice that C.E.P has a config file which you can edit, i did try editing it to make the program work with the latest epsxe (version 170)

Unfortunately i kept getting errors like bad address or bad base address

does anyone have an idea how to configure C.E.P to work with newer PS1 emu's as well as emulations not mentioned in CEP's config file

as i am interested in getting CEP to working with my GBA emulators (version 24a and 26a of nocash gba, batgba and boycott advance) as well as my atari 8bit/st and jaguar emus and others i have

I am assuming that by 'base address' it means the equivalent of memory location 0 (Zero) in the systems ram being emulated (but i could be wrong)

Yeah, should be where actual console RAM starts in the emulator's memory. I called it RamStart or something in Renegade.

Good luck with ePSXe though. I don't know if I tried the latest release, but I never had any luck getting a base/start location for that one. I've mainly used the debugger build of PCSX for hacking purposes. you might have better luck getting a start location in that. It also uses the same plugins as ePSXe. Runs most of what I throw at it. If you're only looking to do simple shit, there's PSX Emulation Cheater (PEC). It's a plugin that works with ePSXE. Works fine for using codes. The search tool is pretty limited though.

With PEC the memory can at least be dumped and then saved into a separate file by whatever program was selected. Still makes for a slow searching process.
