  • Anyone out there proficient in ARM9 assembly?

If you are, then would you mind giving me lessons?
I'm using the language to make AR DS codes. I'm pretty much at an intermediate/kinda advanced level with it, but there are still a few things I don't understand.
I only hack games that I like >:I
And I ONLY use assembly O_o XD

I saw your post at KW. I haven't gone over the source, but it seems like you manage to get around with it fairly well.

While I would love to actually sit down with someone and do some sort of tutoring on hacking and the like, that's still very far away from becoming a reality. Why? Well, that's a long story. The gist of it is, we need the tools to do these kinds of things properly. This document explains the current predicament fairly well and with great detail: http://www.kodewerx.org/wiki/index.p...unity_activity (Note the section this link directly points to; this explains how collaborative debugging could actually work.)

Any way, this is all theory for now, but it is *starting* to happen. I will be getting the foundations for this kind of debugger up on KW within the week. Feel free to contribute to the project if this interests you, and if you now anyone else who might like to get involved, spread the word!

As for your question, no I cannot directly give you lessons at this time (see above); but I'm willing to answer any specific questions you might have! Either here or at KW will be fine.

P.S. Sorry for singling you out, but you seem like a good candidate to ... erm, "advertise" to! There's a whole lot of work that must be done, and no better way to get to it than jumping right in.

That's a lot of stuff to think about. You guys have been doing that stuff for years, while I just began learning less than a month ago
It really interests me though, and I might even base my future career around things like this (I just turned 17 last month). I'd be happy to help out, and I know a lot of others that will be able to contribute much more than me
