  • Crash Bandicoot Hacking Help

Hello, first of all great site i've been visiting on and off for a few years and your hacking guides have been a huge help to me.

I've recently been hacking Crash bandicoot 1,2 and 3 trying to get a 3d image mod out, however i have had no luck, i've got the co ords out and tried setting breakpionts on them as well as search near that location in memory, i've also tried searching near the address that tells the game that the apple counter is on display while i did find size mods i've had no luck getting a 3d image mod.

An tips would be great, thanks for reading

I've tried my hand at 3D model editing on an N64 game, so my first question is:
precisely what is it you're asking for?
A 3D model modifier? Those are sometimes reasonable.
Model characteristics modifier? (size, rotation, individual element details) This is tough to use.
There's also the possibility of you wanting a different motion set. These are potentially doable, though difficult.

If it's something obvious if you see the game, then I can't help.
This reality is mine. Go hallucinate your own.

      Thanks for the speedy reply,

I'm after a model modifier (change crash's 3d model into say Cortex or coco).

I'm all out of idea on how to do this now i've tried setting breakpoints on the coords but i'm not getting anywhere new.

Thanks again for repling any help is extremely appreciated

Sorry for the double post, but i've become quite annoyed with this if anyone has any ideas or tips that would really help me out.

        Thanks

hm,when i am not mistaken, you can play in CB 3 crash and coco, right? why dont you try to look for the difference in their values when the model is changing from crash to coco? that would be my first option after all.and i am not really aware of another.
