learn assembly

hello guys what's the easiest way to learn assembly ?? what tools to use ?? i want to learn to modify genesis games, can someone help me please ??

You're going to need to do a lot of reading, and a lot of experimenting with debuggers/tracers to help you figure out what you're reading. You don't mention what it is that you're trying to do, so hard to give specific advice. One of the ways that a lot of people have learned was to learn RAM code hacking, and then move on to assembly hacking. That's kind of the normal progression since RAM hacking is easier than assembly hacking. I wrote a guide on how to use Gens Tracer to find specific addresses in the ROM. It deals a little with RAM addresses and assembly, but isn't really for learning assembly. You can try it and see if it helps:

i'm new to this but i want to specialize in hack, in fact i want to fix the last boss of mortal kombat1 genesis, shang tsung, he is without powers and without his transformations, i also want to include the reptile fighter in the transformations of shang tsung, reptile is ready in the rom itself, and which trackers indicate me, debuggers, help me with this project because I still don't have a laptop to hack

The title of this topic said that you wanted to learn assembly. If you want to learn 68000 (Genesis) assembly, I'd be more than happy to help. However, it kind of seems like you really only want someone to fix that hacked ROM for you, and are not too interested in learning assembly. Maybe someone else will be interested in fixing it for you.
