  • Need Help Understanding the Wii U

I need help trying to figure out how to install a proper cheat program on the Wii U. I managed to get it homebrewed and I got RetroArch installed on it, and I am now in the process of putting Injected N64 games in the system SD card, and would like to backup my Wii U games and maybe my Wii library in the future. However, I am having trouble understanding the different kinds of cheat methods for the Wii U (TCPGecko, JGecko U, pyGecko???) Which is the best method??? Where do I find the files??? Are these programs up to date??? How do I go about installing them step by step??? Do I really need to connect my computer to the Wii U for everything to work??? Where are the codes and/or codelists??? Can I use these programs with my Injected N64 games??? All of these are very important questions, and it just seems like I find more questions than answers. I'm just too confused and I am to burnt out to look around anymore. Has anyone here been successful in finding and installing any of these cheat programs for the Wii U, and if so, can you show me step by step???

I'm very sorry if I sound like a stupid noob. I guess it's just age or maybe I've just been working a lot and I'm just fatigued, but I really do want to start cheating on my Wii U games as well as transfer my N64 library to there and cheat on them as well. This tired old soul would appreciate any and all input. Thank you!

In order to use cheats on the Wii U you need to have TCPGecko installed onto your SD card. You can get it here: https://github.com/BullyWiiPlaza/tcpgecko
It also requires JGecko U, the Wii U pendant to Gecko .NET. The programm is written in Java, So if you don't have java installed, install it now.
Connect your Wii U wirelessly to your computer (you can set up a mobile hot spot on a Windows 10 machine or use a router).
Launch the Homebrew Launcher and then TCP Gecko. After that launch any game. Once the game is loaded run JGecko U and auto connect it to your Wii U. If it doesn't find your Wii U's IP automatically, grab it manually in any way available. Now you can create and enable cheat lists, search for cheats and more
