Is there ANYBODY who knows how to access the debug menu in Ratchet and Clank 1?

For the past few weeks, I have been trying to access the Debug Menu in Ratchet and Clank 1.
According to TCRF.net, the first game had a debug menu accessible by "editing the game's mode value."

However, that's the only information about it that's given by the site. Does anybody know how to access the menu, or have a gameshark code that enables it? I would highly appreciate it.
