  • Have you guys tried to use Bizhawk emu to hack Genesis, Sega CD, N64 and PS1 codes?

I just started using Bizhawk to play Playstation games, and making cheats with that emulator is a breeze. It has a RAM search that works just like the one in FCEUX, SNES9X, VBA-RR (basically every emulator from the TASvideos guys).

I understand making Sega CD cheats is very difficult, something about no emulator having a RAM search option? Well, this one has one and it supports over 15 consoles. It's very user friendly, easy to set up, and has pretty much all the options you can find in the FCEUX/SNES9X emu.

Hopefully with this people will be able to make decent Sega CD codes, if only for emulators at least.

        Yup.
Used it to hack N64 codes, couldn't get breakpoints to work. So fuck it.
        I'm retired from code hacking.
        I do not take requests!

unfortunately, with bizhawk you need know which CD RAM to search as you can't search all of them at once

Artmoney makes easy it search, by search in all register CD RAM at once

but bizhawk does allow add sega cd ram codes in cheat option, other emulators can not

I put a request to search all areas in one go. Let's see what they respond.

Me too can't find a way to use breakpoint functions with BizHawk. Anyone has any clue?

(another question just for curiosity: why are the sega CD so difficult to hack?)
