Hey guys, I know this will seem like a really dumb question. I do not know anything about hacking but I know a little about using cheat codes on an emulator. I have used codes several times in the past that had question marks at the end of them and all you do is just replace the question marks with whatever digits you desire but right now I'm playing eye of the beholder for snes and I found these really cool item modifier codes for the game on gamehacking.org but all of the item modification codes have 2 question marks at the end of each code and I don't know which digits to punch in to complete the codes. I'm sorry for being so noobish but is there a list somewhere on this site with the correct digits for each item? Thank you,

Thank you for replying to my post Harry. Yes I think it is integer based. There are actually 2 codes for every item. One of the codes controls the quantity and the other controls the type of item. It Basically allows you to have any item in the entire game. If you know what numbers or letters to replace the ?? with.

Unfortunately when helder made those codes, he didn't annotate which the value for each item. So you're going to have to enter random numbers until you get the item you need.
But this FAQ has the values for all the items and weapons:

That was so long ago and I don't even know if I did post values for the items or not but it should still be here on the forums if I did.Originally posted by ReyVGM View PostUnfortunately when helder made those codes, he didn't annotate which the value for each item. Edit: I fixed the first 4 codes of the items (too lazy to redo all slots) so now you can just choose the item you want and it will give you the correct 2 codes for that slot, also note that there are 2 code sets per slot so you use only one of those sets for the item you want. One set has different items than the other.Spoiler Alert! Click to view...

The items actually are 16bit codes so 2 codes are needed since SNES codes are 8 bits, and once you go over FF it then becomes 0100 so another set is used (same addresses just one has 01 instead of the 00). Go have a look at the game entry and you'll see what I did.Spoiler Alert! Click to view...
