I recently came across the tutorial on this site about flashing Gameshark and playing backups without a moving disc and was wondering:
1. Is something like this possible with the standard Xplorer for PS1?
2. What is the best ROM that can be flashed to a standard Xplorer? (there's a site that says v3, but then doesn't provide the ROM)
3. What are the pros and cons of flashing? What will I gain or lose?
4. In a nutshell how does the xplorer match up to the gameshark/action replay?
5. Is there any reason to flash Caetla if I'm not interested in ps1 dev?
6. What other unofficial cool things can be done with an Xplorer?
Appreciate any help as info is sparse and unreliable.
