how do you trace with ( Snes9X1.43.ep9r8)

Hi every one I can't work out how to trace with Snes9X1.43.ep9r8. I click on Cpu loggin the game runs slow I unclick Cpu then look for trace log file but it's not there. I have squelch and split ticked. What I'm I doing wrong?

Press the * key on your keyboard to activate and deactivate the Trace, it will show a message saying Trace Start once the trace has been activated and obviously Trace Stop once you deactivate it.

Thanks for your reply but the *key isn't working for me not sure why. take care my friend

If it's on a laptop then you need to hold the FN key and press the button (usually a letter key, on mine it's "P") to make it work.

Ok thanks for both your replies. It was working all the time but it was saving the logs in a different place on my computer.

Are you FN kidding me? maybe you should use the more recent version of the emulator which has the directories setup correctly.
